Volcano is #1????

is the volcano really the best vape you can get? its what i keep hearing and its the only one i've ever used but im damn impressed. just want to know what others think.

It's the best roller coaster at King's Dominion, I know that much..

I hear it is pretty good. I have a HerbalAire and I really love the versatility. But I am assuming the volcano is better but I have never tried one. Even if it is better I am not sure it is worth the price differnce to me, but even a 50 dollar cheap-o hot box thing is better then a pipe or a bong in my opinion.

you have to realize that volcanoe and Vaporbrothers are gonna get you the same high.

the volcanoe is very expensive and all it does is blow up the bag...
the vapor brothers you have to suck it yourself instead of auto inflate.

I've used both and cannot make out a difference between highs

But i do like the vapor brothers better because you have full control over your hits, how vaporized you want it to be, and what kinda hit you want. You also get to scrape the glass piece which gives dank kief.

I have a vapor bros and its gr8.

I get the same thing with my HerbalAire, stuck up in the little tubes gets a bunch of sticky resin like stuff. It's really strong and doesn't even taste bad when you smoke it, I get close to a full bowl of that for every 8th I vape.

Yeah I am interested in getting something like this. Flowergurl has been raving about them and says that you use about 1/3rd less weed, get a better high and it saves your lungs.
It all sounds good to me.

Plus the high seems to last a lot longer to me. When I smoke the high tends to wear off around 2 hours if not before, but when I vape it tends to last at least an hour longer. Plus, you can save the already vaped weed and turn it into hash later on.

heres the major differences
If you smoke a bowl of weed with a lighter, then you take in both the thc and TONS of other different chemicals.. butane...other potentially bad or good stuff. (edit-- always smoke bowls with a Magnifying glass if you want to burn )
If you smoke a bowl of weed with vaporizer, then you take in almost ONLY THC.

The effect of that(the vaporizer) is a faster high and the high will have less of those other good or bad chemicals.

Also, because you take in so much other stuff when you use a LIGHTER, you dont have as much room for the thc, so a little less high for that.

This also means because you take in ONLY thc and you can control it completly, that you save tons of weed and get a bigger thc high. Lasts longer.

no shit chet! Ive really been thinking about a vap, Ive been smoking a long time ,the bong definatly taking a toll.I tried one before and it didnt get me high, I think it was a cheap one. but the high last longer you say. sweet !

Yeah all you do is take the already vaped stuff and soak it in rubbing alcohol for like 24 hours, but personally I just keep a jar and add to it after each session. Then when you are ready just strain it all through a coffee filter half a dozen times then you just get the alcohol to evaporate and then smoke the sticky remains. You will need somewhere around a half oz of the already vaped stuff, maybe a little more or a little less depending on how good your vape is. The guide I initially read says to double boil it to evaporate the alcohol, just make sure you cover it, I just use the microwave though just be careful not to go too far if you use that method.

cooking with it is very nice though, i made a batch of canna-oil and it got me pretty high for a couple days. it took a while to kick in, but then was steady. =D

It's actually really simple, take as much of the vaped weed as you can and soak it in the rubbing alcohol, the higher percentage the better. Let it soak for at least 24 hours, shake it around a few times, the longer you let it soak the better. After that all you really need to do is strain it all, I use coffee filters but you can use something else, all this does is seperate the alcohol from the mass of vaped weed. I like to pour the alcohol over the mass of vaped weed and through the coffee strainer half a dozen times or so, squeeze it each time you strain it through to make sure you get the most out of it. You will probably end up going through a few coffee filters in the process.

Now my personal preference is to take a couple pinches of the vaped mass there and add it back to the alcohol, just to give it all a little more mass at the end, but it dependson how you are going to use it.

Find some sort of container that is as flat as possible and can take heat, corning ware works fine. I have a bowl with a fairly flat bottom I use, but like a cassarole pan would work well too. I take a plate and cover the top and then throw it in the microwave for like a minute at a time to force it to evaporate, but be very careful when the alcohol is running low because you don't want to burn it. You can also double boil it, which is just start a pot of boiling water and sit the bowl down into it being careful that the water doesn't splash inside. You could probably use the oven too, never tried that.

At that point you just take a razor blade and scrape all the gooey crap off the bottom and off what ever you used to cover the top too. This takes a while and the flatter the surface the easier it is. I am sure there is probably a better method of evaporating the alcohol that makes it easier to get all the stuff after but I haven't thought of it yet.

Once you scrape all the gooey "hash" stuff off the bottom, smoke and enjoy. I am not sure if there is a technical deffinition of hash that this doesn't live up to, I just call it that because that's what I've always seen it referred to.

I love the volcano! Bought mine about six months back and adore it! Nice to be able to sit back and pass a bag around rather than stand next to the vaporizer and hit from the whip and tube. I have four firends who have tried my volcano who promptly went out and bought their own. It is very well made, surgical (germany) grade materials and yes, does save quite a bit on the amount of herb used verses smoking. The high is more of an up and does seem to last longer than smoking. Cleaner lungs in the morning, less coughing and my house doesn't smell like pot all the time..I love it!!!!!! I was not price conscious and wanted the best I could find as it was an investment in my health.
