Volcano vs Extreme Q

I'm looking into investing in a new vaporizer to replace my silver surfer. I like the whole bag idea so I was going to buy a Volcano. But I've been looking at the Extreme Q and they look basically the same except the Extreme is $200 cheaper.

Is the Volcano really worth the extra money or do you think I should go with the Extreme?

:peace:

i've used both extensively, own the extreme q, and i'm perfectly happy with it.
the extreme can also be used as a whip style, the deluxe package comes with all the bells and whistles and spare parts.
the only noticeable difference imo is the cool mouthpiece on the volcano.... but i hardly think it's a $200 difference.

Love my Extreme Q! The bags are a pain in the ass but other then that works just as good, and you can buy 3 of them for one volcano.

i have the extreme q.. i wanted to try a vape as i had never used one before, but i didn't want to spend $600 on a volcano, so i went with a extreme q extreme kit, it came with all of the bells and whistles, and it also came with an iolite as well, and costs half of the money as an volcano.. for my eyes, i can't see what on earth would make the volcano twice as good as an extreme q for twice the money, and i'm a buyer of roor bongs and all, so i'm used to spending money for what i want, but i don't see what on earth justifies the double price over the extreme q on the volcano's to be honest..
i've had my extreme q for over a year now, and it gets used all of the time, and even comes with a remote control, which is pretty bad ass, and i've yet to have an issue with it, and it came with more than enough spare parts that if you were to lose something, you'd have another one or two to make up for the lost part..

so, my vote goes to the extreme q.. save the extra couple of hundred, and by yourself a nice fat sac to vape in it..

whatever, i don't like to spend money when its not needed.. do you really think that your volcano is twice as good as my extreme q?? i call bullshit on that..
but far be it for me to tell anyone how to spend their money, if you want to waste it on a name brand, go right ahead, but it sure as shit doesn't mean you're getting twice the product for twice the cost..

i used a small piece of adhesive velcro to attach the remote to the front of the unit, haven't lost track of it since. (good for stoners ;)) the fact there there *is a remote? *priceless* for couchlock. (replacement remote: $15).

also: replacement bags: i've never actually used one for a turkey but those cellophane "turkey bags" (you put your turkey in it before you bake it.... it's supposed to be awesome but creeps me out) are food-grade cello, we use them instead. ($2 for a 2 pack)

call me a purist, but i actually PREFER that the extreme has a ceramic heater core as opposed to volcano's steel one.
