Roto Growing is the way of the future.

the roto-grow, and the omega are amzing pieces of machinery, I have seen 7lbs pulled from a 336 site GI, 2000 watt expensive bulbs, good nutes setup.

Thats like getting two-3 free LBS from nothing exceeding 1 gr/watt.

Theres a free 10k, 15k... every two months if you keep an eye on your cloning real good.

that person wanted help in ripping someone off, why should i do that?
i didnt see were he said he was going to manufacture and sell them,if that was his goal,he would need capital,if he cant even buy one hows he going to mass produce them, some people just want something to do,he never once said anything ignorrant to warrant that type of responce.so when people post how to,s on air filters or bubble systems,or filthy fletch gives tutorials on how too,s or albfuct shows how to make a bud dryer,or someone shows how to make your own aeroponcs unit your against that,is that right.to me you sound like an omega salesmen pitching the product,is any one telling you to bye advertisement.Should we do away with the do it your self section.

It has to have a 48 inch diameter min.

I have DIY a rotory garden b4.

But we used plastic lumber, the stuff newer decks are made of, they make 4x8 sheets of that stuff.

Recently I found 48 inch Diam. Plastic picnic table and you could use PVC tubes for the slides of the rockwool.

Also No matter what you will have to account for the fact you need a drip tray for the wheel to spin through to water plants.

a 3x6' table would work ok.

And a 60 inch cooltube. they are pricey.

2 1000 watt lights to mount inside.

and 300 RW cubes.. $.75 a cube.

IDK sometimes it sounds easier to get the E-Bay GI GROWS for $2500 that come with lights.

Digitals too. 600's though.s.

you could sell em.

just my opinion.

well why then dont you go out and buy some system and then do whatever some body asks you to do with it cause they are too cheap or resourceful to do it themselves. so again you can take your opinion and propagate it where the sun dont shine.

I found all the info I needed to make mine here:
http://www.h2odynamic.com/PDF/B-Pod_Basic_Operating_Instructions.pdf

http://www.h2odynamic.com/PDF/B-Pod_Assembly_Manual.pdf

A couple heavy wheels that can't deform and trays that don't sag are crutial since it's important that all the rockwool get barely dipped into nutes equally. The model above looks like one of the best designs, except make the sides of the main wheel heavier and out of one piece stock. (Over time the wheels can deform on this model because of the joints and then parts of the wheel are dead because they won't pick up water unless most of it gets overwatered.)

Knowing more about them though, I'm not sure if I'll make one. The cost to build it is just the tip of the iceberg. Every single run requires that big chunk of change for all that rockwool, and when I started to really crunch the numbers it's looking like it would make more sense for me to go to a vertical aero system with no consumables except nutrients. Not just because it's cheaper but also to retain flexibility to grow anything I want and not be limited to what will fit in them.
