Volunteer Canna Seedlings From Last Year!

I have searched to see about this and I can find zero info on this. My plants hermied last year. I am in Toronto with a cold winter. Now there are seedlings popping out everywhere! In the plant containers, all over the yard. I wish I knew before I germinated my three female seeds, two took and one not. So I have two females growing in the window and then all these many little strong looking seedlings growing outside, as they call these sorts of plants; volunteers. Anyone heard of this?

Will my two females be in jeopardy? Of course they will. Plus I have far more than the allowed 4 plants. Any input, advice? These are all different plants lol. Not the two in the window which are fem for sure. Help me ;P

Oh yes, that does happen.

Incase you haven't grown hermis before, they will be female with a stronger tendency to go hermi.

If you grow any of them just keep a close eye on them.

Maybe I ought to pull them, or offer them to others? If I offer them to others, what is the percentage they would be hermes do you think, or is that impossible to know? Could I did them up when they are with like 4 nodes? Also with the last years crop being hermie, if I pull these out with no plants left will the new seeds which are female, are they in jeopardy even with no plants left?
