Why not just form a legal business and keep growing? The only people prop 19 puts out of business are those who are too lazy to form a legal business. Laziness is a really stupid reason to support prohibition. This is an opportunity.
I like growing kill thats what I do. just like sum people grow tobacco and sell it for a living. I would love for it to be legal but dont tell me its legal but I can only grow a little bit while this guy over here can grow a warehouse. thats just bullshit

theres only 4 permits in cali to mass. cultivate cannabis. look into it. its crooked
I can 100% guarantee you that won't be the case. There are only 4 permits now because only one city has issued permits so far. Other cities/counties are waiting until after the election to pass new local regulations and approve permits.

It's true that Oakland is the first to issue permits but think about it. If you look at each county's medical limits there are very few that are allowing above the state minimum. This would make you think that only the counties that are more accepting of cannabis would have better laws for recreational use. Oakland is a descent sized city and to only allow 4 permits is saying something. Do your really think the counties that only allow medical patients the state minimum because they have to will be more lenient on recreational use and cultivation for profit? The simple fact that the number of permits is being regulated at all is worthless, free market my ass.

if you can't beat them, insult them. ;)
I am not so high and mighty as to hate them for their profession buddy =D what i hate is paying 60 for an eighth of the 'good shit' at certain spots when it should ALL be good shit. Of course, this is part of why i do it myself now... but this still doesnt address the fact that some of my smoking buddies who dont have cards, are still considered criminal and risk me losing my medicine. they are no more a criminal than i am.
Blah blah blah with your fucking creepy ass quotes.
Your not even in California any way.
Iam sorry, is the text seperation causing a panic attack? smoke a joint.
oh and i was born in california, and also plan on moving back soon (all of my family is there) and the outcome of this vote, while not the deciding factor, does have an influence.

yeah free market my ass is right. what they are trying to do to with cannabis is sickening. that prop is a fucking joke. it like telling a smoker they can only have 5 packs of cigerettes but you will alow a couple people to grow and produce as much tobacco as they want. everyone should have the equal opportunity to grow and sale there shit on any level as long as its legal. sounds to me like this prop is going to create problems if anything

You might be right about about all of that. But consider that Oakland isn't the typical city when it comes to dispensaries. There are about 100 in San Francisco.

Also you might consider that the more legalization laws pass, over time more and more are allowed in different places. 2 years ago there were zero in San Jose, now it's got over 80. We just have to keep pushing until it's everywhere. The more dispensaries that open up, the more bud that is sold, the more money backing these clubs up, the more it becomes impossible to stop.

I think it'll probably be just the way you described above at first, but over time when society in general understand that these dispensaries pose no real danger, the more accepting everyone will become.

Wake me when you repeal the 14th amendment.

If you live in california and you dont already grow your own weed.... your just retarded

I dont live in cali and I been growing for almost 20yrs....I havent had to buy any weed in 20 yrs

At the present time the State can not Tax weed crops without a vote.......with 19 they can impose any tax amount they choose fit.... without any voting
I agree as I laugh at your first statement.
Why are so many of you so "up in arms" over this ? This was my first year ever growing and I have a nice assortment of different smoke. If I wanna tend to my own plot how's that gonna effect taxes,"biker gangs" and other growers ?
