Wait another week or two?

IMG_3701.JPG IMG_3699.JPG IMG_3700.JPG IMG_3698.JPG IMG_3697.JPG The trichomes are about 80% cloudy 10% clear and 10% amber. My question is I still have about 20% of the pistils white and the orange ones aren't there yet as far as curling in/laying down should I wait to harvest another week or 2 I'm at 9.5 weeks flower

You could wait, or you could chop her.
It depends on the high you want more than anything now.
It'll be good & clear now, It'll be more of a couch lock if you wait.

I'd chop her.

Thanks for the advice , was on the fence last crop I harvested to damn early, was kinda sad about it. And the more reading I do the more I second guess myself lol

i'd wait at least another 2 weeks or so.. as you learned the last grow, it's so not worth chopping early.. i made that mistake once and learned the hard way, and now i make sure my plants are completely done before chopping..

I always go 10 weeks. I never bother with the trich color stuff. I don't think it even works. Unless it's a Sativa or mostly Sativa it's going to be done at 10 weeks. Though come to think of it, I did go 75 days once and it did keep fattening up a little more. Just that an even 10 weeks works better with my rotation system. So I suggest 75 days if you can.

I'm just worried bout amber trichs. Would 1 more week matter in the change? Don't want the lazy high
If you have amber trichs there's something wrong, probably way excessive air flow or too much light or something. I've never seen one amber trich on any plant I've even grown, not even at 75 days. You guys tend to use huge fans in small spaces for no good reason, other than getting amber trichs I guess, and also bigass circulation fans that make the plants look like they're in a constant monsoon. I don't know if that's what does it or not but the browning is presumably from oxidation so maybe. Weird how I never get one amber trich and others get plenty though, to the point that they have to inspect them with a microscope and take emergency action. Only place I see amber trichs is on weed that's a few years old.

There's not a lot as stated before maybe 10%.... That's weird what u your saying about never seeing any, but I'm by no means an expert in fact a true newbie. It's just everything I read says to wait till they start to amber. This is why I say the more I read the more I second guess everything lol. Thanx guys gonna chop her I think

Yeah I know that's the common thing when you read forums and tutorials, I just don't think trich color matters much myself. I base it more on time, meaning number of weeks of growth, and general appearance of the plant, if the buds have filled out completely or not. Generally when the buds are nice and dense and the leaves are starting to die and 70-75 days have passed since starting 12/12 it's time.

Potency actually varies very little from week 7 to 10. It may decline very slightly in the later weeks but it's like a fraction of a percent of THC. So you might as well just base it on trying to get as much bud density and weight rather than how trichs look. I seriously doubt if anyone who smokes 10 week herb would say "this weed was clearly grown too long. I reject this weed". No, they're going to smoke it and be happy and say "nice dense buds here, gotta get more of this shit". Your particular plant looks like mostly Sativa though, so it may take longer than 10 weeks to fill out. And yes, pistils should usually be almost all darkened. What's the strain anyway?
