Waiting for buds to mature and weird issue

Just making sure these orange markings on the leaf are nothing to worry about. At almost 8 weeks, been getting only water for days, just waiting for trichomes to tell me they are ready for harvest. There was a nitrogen toxicity/nute burn issue during flowering but it didn’t do this and it’s been getting only water, and the past 2-3 days I noticed this orange on the leaves, especially towards the top of buds on the sugar leaves that seems to be getting worse, just making sure it’s fine to ignore until harvest.

I see the nute burn, I don't see much else other than that big ass nanner. Get a pair of tweezers and pluck that thing! Look her over really well for others, I don't know how long it takes seeds to form but she is trying to pollinate herself. I don't see any reduction in chlorophyll or emergence of latent colors, she still green. I got a girl that has lost almost all green and she still has about 4 weeks to go.

Trying to pollinate itself? Are you saying it’s hermaphroditing? And this is like the 8th week of mostly indica hybrid, I assumed it would be close. Also what’s a nanner?

No, she is not "herming", she is rodelizing. She has "felt" the are no Male plants around, so, she is basically panicking about her genetic survival. That little yellow nanner is her making pollen so that her reproductive instinct is satisfied. Yes it can lead to a seedy harvest. Flip side, any seeds she produces will be female also.

This is what you circled in that photo, are you sure this is a nanner? Can they grow on a leaf like this?

That's defintielly not a nanner. Zoom in.. It's just nute + light burn.

You're almost done, i'd recommend you give them at least 6 inches away from the light unless you want to smoke some krispy

I thought so but he had me worried lol, my light is well over a foot away, it’s just a strong LED. I think most of the damage is just the nute burn, I had a perfect grow until I left for a month and had someone watering for me. Thanks for the advice though, hoping these buds just hurry up and mature, they’ve been through enough stress already

My apologies, buddy is right. I guess I should zoom in. At a distance you can't say it doesn't look like one.

No need to apologize, I didn’t even know what nanners were, and I could see how you thought that based off the first picture, that’s why I provided you with a better one of it after to make sure, thanks for looking out

That is how I notice them, an odd yellow spot. Trace it back and pluck the calyx it came from. I had a run that went long and 3 out of 4 in that run nannered. Was still some good herb. And I got about 2 dozen seeds from them.
