i seen some dyi threads and stuff, i might get a bigger top tote ,

i saw a 1 deep 72 gallon 1 at walmart, it looked kick ass for plants

then i could find a big rez or something, the 1 i have looks like there wont be much root mass, i sorta want a small 1 but, i need to get lids for them so i might as well buy a bigger 1,

how useful is this stuff to me?
number 2, the stuff from walmart useful , the 3 prong tube thingy only has 3 prongs, then the pump has 2 holes, :S...im confused i dont get how that would work for me.

Wal_Mart
Buh-BuLL-Kloner. Very Simple 1 Gallon.
The clones are floating on styrene Plates. I cut up
into squares and hot glued together.
Fish tank air pump and air stone.
Olivia's cloning solution, with a mild mix of FloraNova Grow Nutrients.
You can see the Poor Mans CO2 in the one pic.

Last pics Bubble-Ponics system all from Wal-Mart.
(2) 200 Watt 4700K Light and some side lighting.
Hard to see but vented from the back to a Fan.

I picked up one of those and a couple 30 gallon tanks at Walmart.. one fair bit of advice is those particular tubs when filled a little over half way distort a lot. So much in fact the top lid cannot be closed at all or it will pop right off once the walls push out after you think its snapped on. My solution was to double line them. I took one empty one I wasn't using and stuck another tub inside of it, filled it, problem solved.

The 75 gallon is almost a lost cause without that same scenario, double them up or buy much thicker containers at that size.

everything except the nutes. I got those online.
Yah get a aquarium pump and a air stone, and some hose.
they didn't have aquarium pH Down, you'll have to go the Local pet
store to get that. The closet I got there the Mylar, I just bought some
cheap disposible cups, cut or melt some holes in the bottom
of the cups, get a hole saw or utility knife and cut some holes
in the lid for your cups.
they have coconut fiber you could use as a medium, or
Oasis Foam.

went to a few stores , no pumps at all :((besides wallmart pic i got)

so im going to hit a pet store hoping they got some pumps ect i was hoping i could get a better pump if i decide to up up on my system from this 1.

this is what i had in mind-----------------------

ok the 75 gallon or the 10 gallon for plants, i thought i could either tubes which ever works better

25 gallon for rez? or does rez have to be bigger than plant bucket?,

either use the black tubes i have for traveling water?(i think washer/dryer type hook ups from plant bucket to rez , i really wanted to use it cause its got the y connect to it maybe get a 2 plant area's going, or just use the clear tube attached to pump, from pump to smaller clear tubes to misters? then i would need a 2nd pump right?

then use the pump to attach to the misters mister for each plant ?

or do flood and drain but i dont know how to do flood and drain i dont got the parts, i might have them connected to a black flood table outside ill go look.

hey there, havefungodumb! Have you read StinkBud's thread?? https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/116859-harvest-pound-every-three-weeks.html I believe it will answer all of your questions and then some. You can build that thing any size you want, from the cloner to a 1-2 site syst. to however many you need.
And if you make a bubble cloner you dont "need" any nutes at all or hormones---80+degree water, rolling bubbles, and high humidity(dome if not).....

10 days.............. The aero cloner of SB's looks cooler!

Great Luck!!!!!

alright heres a few more parts

and this is some stuff from a flood table i have, the bottom part is at bottom and i have all these parts in storage im pretty sure, wouldnt that be the flood stuff?...

pic 3 and 4= your in/out fitting--need that size hose(black)....
You need a pump(think'n a 264+gph).....
Must be Lowes....... MacCourt Mixing Tub in the concrete section 2' x 3' x 7+".......
Make a frame to support some of the weight---not overkill like I did. It needs to be below the table completely for gravity's sake.....
resivor(mines a 18 gal?)

The 'black thingys' are neoprene pucks that are about $15-20 for 50 at the hydro shop---and you can whip something else up instead of those if that's an issue......

I was doing my starts in the RW is the reason for it in my table---those are moms and they now ride high on hydroton(under the RW)...

Got work to do............Have a great night!

3-4 on first page or my latest post ?

the hose? you mean id have to take off the stuff on end then attach them right?.

im gonna try pet store for pump think they have it? or wait a min that pump pumps a 20 gallon tank thats like what you got right?,
pause is that pump good enough , the pump is pumping water through tank to plants, i dont get it, the tube does that correct?.

how usefull you think that white thing is?thats the top part of flood table brings water in, i think i got all the other parts i could make a flood table as well,

then a setup like yours, :).

im gonna get pcv pipe stuff in a few days but untill then i wanna make 1 like yours, what else i need ? i need to buy a pump, maybe a new plant part , find my lid, a bubbler?

ALSO

then what about a mister , the mister parts i got the latest post, woudl those misters work for aeroponics you think? latest post 2-3 pics,
hook that thing up, to pump, hook to misters misters to pots/roots, rez etc ?

........sorry, that was pic 4-5 of your last pic post.......that's your 'through-hull' fitting. If your going to make a table you dont need pvc for that. You put that fitting in the bottom of your table and run a hose from there to you pump which sits in the res......that's it.......unless you want/need a overflow(I use one but I wont next time) which means another through-hull fitting and more hose leading back to the res--->inside the table, you put a riser the height you want the water to reach before it flows into the riser and fix that to the inside of the fitting(inside the table). I run mine 3 minutes at a time and that fills it about 4"; it takes about 3 mins to drain too(back through the pump). I took my riser out altogether and so that hole starts draining the second water comes in and once the pump is off it drains twice as fast----I need bigger through hull fittings and hose so it can drain faster(fill too) through the pump next round(thinkin' it's only 1/2").

You say, "im gonna try pet store for pump think they have it? or wait a min that pump pumps a 20 gallon tank thats like what you got right?,
pause is that pump good enough , the pump is pumping water through tank to plants, i dont get it, the tube does that correct?."
^^^-----not sure what your asking. You mean hose?? The pump just floods the table, then it drains back via gravity. My pump(I think) is a Eco264 and I am not sure right off what the specs on it are----but it was only like $20 or something. The pump just needs to be able to flood your table in a few minutes and allow for pretty quick draining----so like 3/4 hose??<---mine too small, I know that.

topfuel29, Great idea with the sleeping mat from wally-world!! Another one I heard of people using is those "pool noodles" things. I guess just slice them, huh..? And I even saw a grow where a guys was using the bottoms of styrofoam cups!:hump: I guess you do what you got to do. And it all does the same thing in the end:eyesmoke:

We'll be waiting for some pics of what you got goin' on:joint::hump:
