Wannabee Cana-Chef With First Attempt Pics

Greetings!
I'm COO of a Collective in San Diego and we have decided to become Canabutter and Canaoil suppliers to the dispensaries.

I'm setting up a good size Hydroponics system, (Pics in my intro thread in the Hydroponics section) and hope to have strong pure buds to harvest every 2 weeks and all the resulting trim as well. I'm growing Afghan Mother DNA and Royal hash strains right now but I want to expand to about 6 or 8 varieties.

So with the great advice from this site I started cooking.

I started with the standard Crock Pot recipe, since it's my first batch I didn't want it to be to weak or anything so I used 5 ounces of trim to 3 pounds of Land O lakes butter.

Cooking good and I love the smell! Good thing I live alone lol.

I let it simmer for 9 hours then a nice relaxing overnight stay in the fridge.

For my first batch I was really happy with how easy it was.
I had a full inch of butter.

I found out my ice cube trays are just a touch over 2 table spoons per cube so they became the molds for the remelt. Wish I had the big pic but I seem to have lost it. 3 pounds looked great on the plate!

Final weight was 3.2 pounds. I actually gained a little weight!

Made some cupcakes. Yummy Yummy Yum Yum!

I've been cooking like crazy, chocolates, cakes, candies anything I can throw the butter in just to get a feel for it. All our members are loving the sudden supply of free edibles! lol

I also did an 3 ounces trim to 2 cups of oil. Double boiler, strained twice.

Keeps well on the counter and came out great!

Just a quick thanks for the great info, threads and recipes here! I couldn't do it without you, Thanks!

Love the touch of the leaf on the cupcake; great work.

Also, let's see some more pictures of the oil, and other concoctions you've made...

Thanks! I will next time I make something cool. So far it's all been simple stuff like small batches of cupcakes and chocolate squares so I can get the flavor/ dose repeatable and consistent.

I just started eating brownies made almost the same dose as yours
in budder and love it too much haha!
I want to try making Coconut Oil that just sounds too good for
Chocolate Munchies.
I just figured out how much I'll have to set aside each year for Budder
and it comes out to 3 1/2 lbs.
