Ok, to be completely honest I really was only saying that to make a point.
I like the number 650 a bit more anyway.

ah bruv! Your old muscle cars look fat, I will admit,
but even with major mods, they're still shit, you know the cars from Modena Italy rock! A 458 Ferrari blows your us crap away!
4.5 litre v8 560 hp, awesome beauty and handling like all European models..lol!!
oh and made from carbon fibre not pig iron!
or a Paganini zonda, wow! Sounds like no other with build quality to match,
of course there's the Germans with the Bugatti veyron, 1001 hp W 16, costs four times to make than they sell it for! Just to prove an engineering point. The indicator stick alone costs £7000.
i like mopars, though American cars generally suck!...lol

it seems the U.s. has had it's century, just like us Brits, ours was the 19th, yours the 20th china's or The 21st, not long and they'll be a super power we all must bow too.
though admittedly, unless it's the wests designs they manufactor, the quality of the own made stuff is shit!
but fact is, just look at your iPad etc, where's it made? P.R.C. Western greed and desire for profit/cheap plentiful labour has given them the jump on us all.
seem to have gone off topic!..lol!! Sorry! Just having a rant!
and shit!! The topic is guns...lol!!
just noticed, by the way I love weapons, especially guns!
here in Blighty we are allowed none!
except air rifles!
and I have one, cost a grand!! In the U.S. I bet that would buy me a fat gun?

The Pagani Zonda is not available in the States. That Ferrari is beautiful, but for less than half the price a ZR1 'Vette will give it a solid run, even on the Ring.
The Veyron is French, and have you heard that W16 in operation? it sounds oddly humorless, industrial somehow.
Now i would not turn down a 'Vette or a Mustang Laguna Seca ... but if I had car money it'd be a Carrera S for me.
With a rack for the Steyr. ;) cn

Surely you know, Bugatti is owned controlled and made by Volkswagen?
volkswagon being German, As is rolls Royce and Bentley.
agreed a quad turbo w16 doesn't sound great, though you know with all our euro cars, you need mnot worry about the arm rest falling off in you hand within six months,
agreed vettes, the latest is rapid, though you get what you pay for,
and I quite like my arm rests..lol..;)

agreed again, the carrera S. v10 sound absolutely awesome!
with German engineering, build quality and reliability to boot.

i recall the latest incarnation of the ford gt40. Matey who paid a fortune for it,
spent less time driving it and more time waiting for the garage/dealers to fix its un reliability.
i guess if I paid close to £100000 for a car I'd expect it to start, and my arm rest to stay just where it was meant to be,under my arm..lol:)

How did a topic about guns get onto cars?

To be fair, it makes me laugh... I can see congress sitting there saying "Gun crime is at an all time high, how do we combat it? MORE GUNS!"

Fml, you dig your own grave then when you lay in it, you complain.

Edit: On cars... Europe > USA for engineering, style and just about everything.

The Carrera S has just six cylinders. The Carrera GT was their big ten-cylinder.
Not sure how i feel about the tens. The Viper sounds a bit like a big vacuum cleaner, but the Lexus LF-A has that great wild old F1 sound!
Veyron: yes; owned by VW GmbH, but a French firm on French soil.
I love the looks of the Ford GT, but neither the price nor the accommodations. I am on the larger side of the size spectrum, and am astounded at how many cars are adequate but not truly comfy for someone of my build.

About build quality: imo the Americans have made advances and the Europeans have made some of the reverse. Benz and BMW used to be reliability marques. No longer. And it's stupid stuff that breaks, usually electrics, comfort items and other big-money black box shite. Jmo. cn

I don't believe you know what you're talking about, congress has said nothing yet...

You can own a gun in the UK, mostly shotguns but not hand guns.
A shot gun licence is relatively easy to get as long as you don't have a criminal record.

Here is the Mets faq's on guns as you are based in London I figure this is useful.

Ask me why I'd like to drive a Corvette....it's not to get from point A to B.

Over in Euroland, where people drive tiny little shitboxes, the prevailing answer might be to get from A to B. Wait...isn't Euroland where they make Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, and Porsche's?

Let's not forget Rolls Royce and Bentley's.

Yep, all anyone cares about is getting from A to B...

I love it when the British get on here and tell us how things should be...that's why we left you guys in the first place...LOL!
Obviously you and your compatriot over there are truely lost if you're nitpicking the same sentence that apparently neither of you understood lmfao. The point is, cars have ANOTHER purpose. A clear one that millions use every day. Am I gonna feel safer in the view of 4 cars or 4 people with assault rifles hmmmmmmm. If you wanna tell me how coffee machines can also injure people and show me stats that fine as yanks have one again thrown rationality out the window. And yes your cars are shit, that's why rich Americans go European

Are you jealous that that the ZR1 is awesome AND cheap? Give me an example of a European car that performs as well and cost as little.

Hold your breath.

No wait, don't do that because the answer to your question is NONE.
But if you want to spend a quarter or a million, now you can get a real Euromobile.
