this is my first time growing and i plan on using something along the lines of filthys aerponic system and a 400w mh/hps conversion light system. i was planning on putting it inside of a wardrobe if i can find a cheap one.
anyone have any ideas of what items i would need to make this work properly and where i can get them?
any strain suggestions?

If it is your first time growing i would go with a bubblebonics or flood drain system. Im new to but i have asked the same questioins and that is the answer i got. Good luck

thanks bubbleponics was my first idea then i did more looking around and heard aeroponics is easier and faster.

im setting up a flood and drain, also know as ebb and flow, im gonna do it as a sea of green method. Aeroponics maybe faster but it is also more difficult and if your power goes out or the roots dont get whet when they should you could be fucked in the matter of half a day where as bubbleponics it would take much longer of a no light or a fuse going out and taking out your pump or a line breaks and ur system goes dry. at least from my understanding. areoponics is really for when you have a little more experience

u could probly buy all hte stuff at local stores and build it yourself. its safer. its what im doing it will take more effort but the knowledge and experince you will get from it will be the plus. That system is cheap but i think you could build one yourself for under 100. As long as you dont live in bumb fuck nowhere then you should be able to get everything you need localy. SHit you might have some of the stuff around the house. Leaves you more money for seeds and lights

Im doing some bag seed from soil right now but its taking to long and i have run into a lote of problems. aslo taking a lote of soil into your place looks suspisios to neaighbors. im setting up a six tray flood and drain system. havnt got the strains yet still looking. im gonna get the whole system set up first and then order them. IM gonna use one tray for 2 mommas that i take 6 cutting from each and keep the best 3-4 from each they will sit as clones for 2 weeks and then go straight into flowering. I use cfls on my mamas and 2 75w hps on light movers and a some10 t8 4' tubes and cfls. The mammas and clone area is a 2'x8'x8' closet(this is more than i will use but its where they will be) they will be closed in of course dont need to light hte whole closet. The flowering will be 5'x5'x8' or bigger if i need to. i have the luctury of using a whole room for my set up. and im going to build it all myself. it will take a while but i will get it done

im thinking maybe around an ounce at least thats what i want. when i choose my seeds im going with something like big bud or a hi yielder like that. im not quite sure what you would get i dont have that much experience but surely more that an ouce maybe more than 2. dont forrget that when you start flowering them they will double in size if not triple

doesnt the bubbleponic systems need to be on 24/7 also?
and that hydroflora system is both drip and has a fogger is that good?

i have a very limmited knowledge on other hydroponic systems, i am a soil grower converting into hydro. i know a lot about my system(the ebb and flow) but little about the others just htat they are more difficult to do and bubbleponics and ebb and flow are both easier to take care of problems and also you dont ahve to worry about loosing your plants in an hour
