Washing your buds after harvest?

So I know Jorge Cervantes is a legend among the cannabis growing community and he knows his shit but I'd like some second opinions as I'm thinking about trying this this upcoming harvest. Whatcha guys think? Anyone try it before?

No i havent done it befor man but I've heard of it before it increase the affects of the high I'm pritty sure but if you do it wrong chances are you could end up with bud root and that could destroy your harvest

yeah but you guys are missing the point, listen to what dris 420 was saying.

first you grow the weed shit (overcrowding, no proper pruning or preventative measures etc)
then you chop it early because you notice a powdery white substance is quickly growing all over your plants
then you use an oxidising and bleaching agent to wash off said powdery substance so it concentrates the potency of your now louder than loud dank!

finished product is worthy of a ht cannabis cup!

I wasn't talking about potency, how would dousing in h2o2 increase potency? If anything it'd knock a few trichs off...I just heard it was a great way to get everything off buds that you may not see (dust, dirt, hairs, foliar feeds, etc)

And h2o2 evaporates and leaves no residue as far as I'm aware so as long as you properly dry I don't think any issues would arise from it. I don't have PM but I'm looking for the smoothest smoke I can get and i found this.

No, ir ruins the cure...and wont really get anything off your bud,.dust and crap is deep in the nug attached to the trichomes. Not just chilling on the oitside of a nug..
Did i mention ruining the cure

Plus it may evaporate but not without destroying the cannabinoids and terps...speaking of which, everyone whobwater cures does so largely to remove aroma

I would only do it if you had pm. If you want a smoother smoke grow organic and really read up on how to cure the bud.

It won't increase the potency. It won't ruin the cure. It won't ruin the canabinoids. It won't ruin the terpines. It won't increase chances of bud rot. This I know from personal experience with both foliar spraying diluted H2O2 and doing a pm wash and rinse in diluted H2O2 solution.
