Water catcher for small grow rooms

This is something I came up with cuz I didnt wanna deal with excess water or double bucket my plants and is so much more simple...go to walmart or home depot and go into the shelving department and look for the shelves thats have the slits in them...there usually black...take the post that come with them and cut them down to bout 2 inches and place them in holes were there supposed to go.take some trays that you use for your humidity dome and places them on the floor and put the shelving with your 2 inch post over the top of the trays and put your buckets back on the shelving. Now when you water and the excess runs thru your trays will catch all the water thats comes out and slide the trays out and dump the excess water were ever you please. Mine goes in the toilet so I dnt get fertilizer in my sink...food for thought..happy growing

each pot has a tray for it and it should not be ever flooded, it's intended to catch the water, not saying yours dont work, just that theres no need for all this

Its basically for cococoir grows or soil cuz I can assure you thats there are people that water there plants and it sits on the floors. Also with double buckets and or trays you still gotta lift the trays cuz you dnt want it to sit in its own water and doing it the way I described saves you from that and when in cococoir the run off is quite a bit when you have 4 to 6 plants....I should have mentioned that but then again for the little time it takes to set up its well worth it .....and its also a great way to check your ph right after the the water comes thru.

i just go to ho depot to the cement section they have these small black cement mixing tubs for 3 bucks, there sweet for this.
