ide be more scared putting my fresh plants in a jar of water...blah blah thc isnt water sol but it just sounds like water curing is a bit off for my liking. just dry your buds, maybe a bit longer then u have been doing, pop em in jars and burp them. i add rice at the bottom of my jars to help with that excess water.

lol i cant get past two weeks cus i smoke it all.......................the reason i started growing was for personal use anyways....there craking down were i live they got a sign on the side of the hwy that says if you think its dry this year wait till next and it has a weed leaf with an x on it..motherfuckers!!!! so i dont really care if i get less weight

i think im gonna water cure half of the plant and air cure the other half compair back to back...

I had a branch break off a flowering plant recently so I water cured it. It pretty much removes all flavor and aroma. I can see how that might be handy for stealth public smoking but it's definitely not my preference for the majority of my buds.

how was the high compared to the rest of the plant? im not selling it so i dont care that it dosent have the funk or that it weighs less(well i do sell just to my boys and they know its my head stash and i openly tax them lol)

The buds I used were early so it was a bit racy. THC is not water soluble so you don't lose any potency. Buds look like hell, though. You'll lose some plant matter and overall weight but no THC so technically the remaining bud is a bit stronger/higher THC % per weight. The water cleans all the crap out of the buds so you do end up with a very clean smoke, which is why it has almost no taste or aroma. Like I said, not really my preference but it does have it's place. (I generally get lots of compliments on the taste and aroma of my buds and that's the way I like it)

Every grower should try water cure at some point.

If I could only take one, either air or water cure on a deserted island, I'd definitely take the air-cure buds. But as mentioned it does it have it's place. It's very smooth to smoke, but all the 'bag-appeal' dissapears.

My routine for the last few grows has been to use those tiny buds on the bottom of the plant that are too small to bother hanging and throw those into water cure.

If you want to water cure, I would suggest that you just try it on a small portion of your plant first.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing with some White Widow I saved. It had some bud mold, which has since been removed.
But others have advised me to water cure to remove the spores.

I'm just as nervous as you are since this is looking like almost an Oz.

By the way, your clone is BEAUTIFUL.
