How much do you usually let your resevoir drop before you add water/nutes?
I have a 5 gal resevoir. I was thinking about letting it drop to about 1 gal before filling it back up. Then I came across another member that let his dry out bc he didn't want to feed them tap water and didn't have anything else on hand. Now that I started thinking about it, I think I might only let it drop about 2 gal to ensure that most of my roots are submerged so all root mass is obsorbing nutes and not drying out.
What are your thoughts?
