Just get molasses and no other tricks. And its normally just used in the flower cycle but doesnt hurt all the way though

in the event someone (like me) would like to give sugar water (instead of molasses, because it is easily obtainable materials) a try for my flowering plants, how much sugar would i mix in with how much water?

agreed, mollasess or black tracle will be as readily available in supermarkets as sugar will be.
well the info would be more productive then telling me i can just buy it.. i knew that.

the reason is my friend across state is finishing my grow for me but he isnt the wealthiest person n i dont want to give him extra errands to go run he's already busy a lot. im supprised he finds time to check my plants 2 times a day.. and i cant drive 5 hours to go buy n give him them myself

post service, there is no excuse for him not to be able to buy some. they're like a dollar. you tell him htere'll be an extra 8th in it for him if he can feed them with molasses, and chances are he'll find some molasses.

I considering boiling sugar with some water and then letting it cool, and then feeding them the sugary water, none of the sugar that is left in the pot, would this harm or be beneficial for the flowers?

from the lack of actual answers, well i can't say why other than it's because everyone else uses the tried and tested mmolasses. it just works, no reason to try and change it :)

and yeah, they really are that cheap, you can most likely get any kind of size you're after, and black treacle, i know that only costs a pound or two in the uk, and molasses which are harder to find over here than america were a couple of quid when i found them.
