Waterfarm 8 pack recirculating

Im trying to make my water farm a reciculating system.I took a water pump stuck it in my main res, too pump my nutrient to the individual buckets.after exiting the buckets it gos back to my res.It seems to only trickle back into my res. my question is im I doing this right or am I way off.should I be using a airpump or water pump. please help!

I'm no expert on these at all but I know that flow from the res to the control unit is painfully slow. Often this is just because that tubing kinks. Not sure if yours is but maybe replace that with a better kink free hose and things will flow a bit better. I'd just put a small fountain pump in the last bucket and have it pump periodically on a timer just to keep things going.

If that doesn't work just recirculate through the control unit and let the res serve it purpose of simply replenishing. That might be the best option. Recirculating through just the control unit also keeps the res super clean having only fresh nutes and water being added.
