............surprize, and not what you'd expect here. The water heater that supplies water to my whole house is in a room that I am the only person with 'clearence' too enter. yes, I know....and I knew too.......
So anyway. Does anybody on here know about DIY waterheater trouble shooting, fixing, replacing??? that might have some answers for me? I just went to one of my favorite DIY sites and the same guys that just helped me run a 100WT Sub into another 'stealth' room told me I 'd better get an electricion!<they just didn't know it was stealth..
Enough BS!!! Sorry!
The ol' Lady went to have a bath last night and came and told me the water had gone cold about when the tub was half full. This same thing happened at this time last year a couple of times. I went to the trip button on the heater itself and hit it, water was fine this morning, as it was each time last year. Tonight, same thing for her; NOT for me-----> the button doesn't seem to have tripped, and the one at the panel is fine too. I dont feel any warmth around the unit(which is built into another room of its own and exausted).
So is there a way to tell if my thermostat is shot?, or the elements?, the reset? , or the whole damb thing...?
OH! One thing I am remembering.....a few nights back I noticed that the water was getting really hot as it came out of the tap.........which made me finally remember what was going to happen if I didin't get something done...
Thanks for any and all help.
