you should water until there is some runoff out of the bottom of the pot. then wait until the soil is dry down a couple of inches. repeat. you'll end up watering every 2 to 4 days if you have the right pot size.

ok i have a 2 gallon pot.i think ive been under watering i water untill the whole surface is wet.but i have to water like 3 times a day but my soils definatly dry when i water.

mate i give mine 1/2 pint every day and they are going good, don't stress over it too much...if they look dry water them if they don't don't.

you want to force the roots to stretch throughout the pot by watering thoroughly - then as it dries the roots grow longer chasing where there is still water. the roots won;t develop properly if you are watering multiple times a day with small amounts.

i just water'd it and i took a full regular size water bottle and there was some run off.

don't be stupid with a watering schedule. water when the leaves start to droop. the plant will tell you when it needs watered.
