Watering with Watermelon Water

Would watering a marijuana plant with water from a watermelon be HARMFUL?

I was wondering if watering a marijuana plant with the water from a watermelon would be okay to do. I have been doing some research and cannot find an answer. I have found juice is bad because of the high sugar content like apple or orange juice, and beer is good because of the barley, wheat, and hops. Yet nothing on watermelon water. I have done some research on watermelons and found that they have much of the nutrients needed for a healthy plant including: calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc. Other nutrients in a watermelon include: Vit. A, Vit. B1, Vit. B2, Vit. B3, B5, Vit. B6, Vit. B9, and Vit. C. It seems to me that it would work well perhaps mixed with plain water. If anyone knows an answer, please let me know or if not, your personal opinion would be helpful as well. If no one knows for sure, than I think I will do a little experiment and give it a try :-)

well do you have a point although i dont think that is will inflict much on the taste but definitely make a journal and let us know how it goes.... im very interested so see where this goes...

Oh, I forgot to mention a few stats: Sugar content in a watermelon is only half of whats in an apple and the water content is 92%

ye i was about to say its mostly water i would give it a try, but it might attract gnats and shit. im interested to see what happens

yeah, i already have a gnat problem before so im use to killin a couple every day. since its not in a main area, and currently the gnats are, maybe they're move over there :)

i could, i do, and i am, im just wondering if it would change the end product at all or if it would harm the plant. if it wont harm the plant, then i would like to try it just to see what kind of a result i would get compared to plain water

I love watermelon, who knows if plants will, but those fucking gnats will most liekly like the melon juice most of all.
Get ready with some sand or whatever you use because your probably going to need it.

I really dont know, i just think that just clean good ph'd water is better.
But w/e you are just trying to experiment.

i didnt say that. i said that there would be no added benefits as far as flavor and odor goes, it just wont happen.
as far as giving the plants the nutrients required to produce quality herb,on its own, no way.
and im curious why. why not use organic nutes that will cost u less money then buying a watermelon when u wanna feed ur babies, and know that ur plants r getting what they need?
but by all means, go for it.

Give it a shot and let us know, I believe it is possible for it to affect taste. If it wasn't then people wouldn't use things like botanicare sweet.

lmao check the ph of the watermelon ahahaha. i could see this working, but like someone else said it will invite bugs. you figure if the mexican cartels can grow weed with polluted ass mexican water you might be able to grow some bud with melon juice if its not too acidic
