Watering.

Just out of curiosity, is there a general consensus around how much to water?

For example, if you're using 5 Litre pots, how much would you believe is the right amount of water? Is there a ball park figure for how much water per container size? Like 20% of container volume or something.

Basically, I use about 1 Litre of water per 5 Litre container, sometimes more, sometimes less depending on how light the container feels.

I get all of that, I'm just looking to see how much water people use per container litre is all. I water every 3 days and have no issue's in terms of under/over watering symptoms.

Useful advice though :)

Water just until you get run off. A ratio 4:1, 4 being how much you water and 1 is the amount of run off. When I ran with soil I used the kick the bucket technique, every morn I would give each container a lite tap with my foot when they felt light I would water, you can easily tell the difference between light and heavy this way. The amount you water is dictated by your environment and the growth rate of the strain you are growing. Good Luck
