ive planted 4 white widow and i had a bag seed so i threw it in to, well the white widows look fine and so does my bagseed although it looks different it has thicker leafs its indica as they are broad. they are waxy does any1 know if i can determine the strain its female so im gonna grow it i just wondered how much you guys know

Unless the person you purchased the herb the bagseed came from knows for sure what it is there is no way you will ever know what strain it is. There are something over 2,000 known strains plus all the strains created by hobby/basement breeders and by accidental breeding both by growers and in nature so what are the odds that even with a detailed description and good pictures anyone will ever be able to say for sure what strain the bagseed plant actually is?
　
Being waxy really isn’t much of a clue as to what strain something is. When I began using SuperThrive with my other ferts/nutes the plants I was growing at the time had what most people would call normal color and normal texture leaves. Soon after adding SuperThrive the leaves all grew darker in color and became very shiny and waxy.
They were still the same plants of the same strain. They just received something they did not receive in the past and it changed their appearance so it is possible that many or even any strain might have waxy leaves under the right conditions and receiving certain nutrients.
