Week 4 flower and she's bending under her own weight!

Growing blue mystic and i'm on week 4 flower. buds are getting real frosty now and starting to thicken up. unfortunately right now she's bending under her own weight from the top. if this keeps up moving into weeks 5-9 she'll snap from the center because the stress will be to much.

how do i stop it or support the plant a little so she can keep growing those big Delicious flowers

Use some bamboo stacks to stack the branches up with some tie wire or something to support them.

here she is at week 3.5

one main cola. and lots of medium sized buds below it. Main cola is about 4.5 inches long. total plant height at this point is about 2.5 feet

haha thanks. this is actually my third grow (but also the first grow where the plant bent so much under its own weight). i use Fox Farm Ocean forest as it has enough nutes in it for almost the entire grow with no other nutes really necessary i'm sure my yeilds would be higher if i used nutes but i tend to be kinda lazy about adding them.

she was abused at first the root ball totally fell apart and even some roots got ripped apart. but damn these plants are strong. especially with good genetics i keep a journal for my own reference on what i did, what went wrong etc. so i don't freak out if i do something similar and just forgot about it from to many bong rips :D

Hell yeah bro know the feeling. Been on here for alittle while with various grows myself. Starting with a cfl box that came out amazing for my 1st 3 grows. Use a 600 digital Lumitek now.

hydro store here sells lights. i may invest in one. i hear the plants grow faster, bigger and fatter than with CFL's. i get about 2.5 to 3 ounces though when i harvest.

It all depends I was getting 12-14ozs dry weight off 20 cfls. Last grow under my 600 I did a side by side Hydro 6 plants & soil 6 plants. Check it out was my last forum.

Hey man, that's a gorgeous girl you got there. I had a buddy grow her about 2 years ago until his wife got mad and ripped his plants. What does yours smell like? His just had a hint of musk in them, the poor things never made it to flower, they had just showed preflowers.

I stake my plants from early early veg till the end with moderate wind all the time. I feel that the plants grow fastest when they are not fighting to stand tall and straight but also gain the chunky thick stalks from lots of swaying back and forth. You have a excellent plant keep up the good work.
