Week 5 of flower, spots on leaves

Just starting week 5 of flower and she's looking pretty. I was looking at her today and saw brown spots had appear about to 3 branches down on one of my branches.

You can see it on the center fan leaf - notice the brown spots.

Another angle:

Any idea what this may be?

dude, not enough info to diagnose the problem. 1st of all, they look nice and healthy, the brown spots...well...check pH, what water do you use?what nutrients, what soil or medium have you started giving them nutrients?what schedule?. Looks indeed like Ca+ and Mg+ problems, and it's a very common problem.

I'm using happy frog with perlite and vermiculite. Been using the fix farm dirty dozen nutrient pack at 1/2 to 2/3 strength every other watering, with a flush every 3 weeks using sledge hammer. All of this is under a 270w full spectrum LED.

Bumped to add that I've been using tap water left to sit 24-48 hours to remove chlorine. I have a soil in ph meter that consistently reads 6.5.

Having the same issues man... Are you getting a lot of yellowing or just the spots? Mine started with a few spots, then just went to hell in a hurry, have had a lot of yellowing, some leaves are completely mottled with spots now. Week 5 from flowers or from flip? Mine started just about 4 weeks from flipping light. Still trying to fix

From Flip. It was 4 full weeks from flip on Friday.

I had a slight gnat issue that I solved with fly paper. My schedule calls for a flush tonight, but I won't be back until Saturday to see if the problem has increased.

I grow in a tent with a carbon scrubber and hepa filter for intake. Temps are consistently in the high 70s and I only water 2x a week. Each plant is in a 2 gallon smart pot. Overwatering isn't an issue. I don't ph my water, but I'm growing in soil so it shouldn't be an issue. Yo be safe though I'm going to ph the run off after I flush tonight.

We've got similar issues going on. Started at same time. I've also had a battle with the fungus gnats, tho I've been in control of that one for a bit now. I hit them with azatrol a few weeks into veg, then have used the sticky pads and 'clap method' when I see the little buggers. Only a few here and there now. I didn't pH my water until I started seeing these issues - spots and yellowing. I tried last night with a light watering of a light mix of Epsom salts, hoping that it needed a little magnesium. Time will tell I guess if I made a royal error. I use a 4x4 tent, 6 inch inline for exhaust, but do not scrub my outgoing as it just goes outside and I don't live close to anyone and grow legally. I don't have a 'real' intake filter.. I've got mine in 3 gal pots, 2 part happy frog, 2 part ocean forest, 1 part perlite. Temps typically top out at 78, but past week and half has been blazing and I've seen low to mid 80s, had to bring my lights up a little more. I only give you the info on mine as reference to see if there is anything similar that would be causing the same issue for us.

I'll be curious to watch and see how yours do, and what you find to be the issue.

No. This is manganese def, not magnesium. Not the same word, not the same metal.

go to www.growweedeasy.com and look at the manganese deficiency
Yes, what @hells canyon genetics said.

That looks to ME to be the beginnings of a calcium def. Is that a Sat Dom? Sats & Sat Doms will usually devour calcium and magnesium in flower. Get some Cal-Mag and feed at least every other watering. If you're on a budget, try a tsp per gal of epsom salts (magnesium suphate) should clear it up. Watch the new growth.

In all my years I have NEVER seen a manganese def. At first, I played hell differentiating Ca and Mg deficiencies, still do at times. Mo841 could very well be right. I believe its Ca, either way, calmag should cure ya!
Manganese toxicity expresses itself by interveinal chlorosis and necrosis starting at the leaf margins, not brown spots in older growth.

Well said. I can't disagree with your post. I will sit here on the fence and lurk more.

I went with the calcium deficiency after earlier comments and what I saw on growweedeasy. I read there that CalMag is bad during flower because of the nitrogen, so I went with lime and added 11 teaspoons to each plant and gave them each a gallon of water. Hopefully this fixes it, because these plants are gorgeous and have had no other issues.

If it progresses, go with the cal-mag, Yes lime is calcium, but slow to release. I use cal-mag all the way thru, because My Sat Doms devour calcium and magnesium in flower. Botanicare cal-mag is 2-3.2-1.2. I dont feel that thatis too much N, and they DO still need N albeit much less while in flower
