my buds started to be weird at the top and only the top. it looks like shes putting out new pistils since there not swollen and they are alot more loose from each other. kinda looks like foxtailing but idk. the rest of the nugs are pretty swollen since its been flowering about 7 weeks. it might be a light leak i had for a couple days. any one know what this might be from?

the second pic is a normal cola and the first is a weird one

Buds look great to me.

Some sativa-dominant strains will normally put out new crops of flowers deep into flowering. What strain do you have there?

A lot of our strains shoot out thicker, new pistils towards the end of flowering. They always looked ugly to me, but in the end all is well.

yeah they didnt look right and i was worried they might not mature or something in time. i also thought they might be from a light leak

Have your temps been slowly climbing, rather than slowly falling like they would in autumn?

In many plants, backwards temperatures can effect the growth of the flowers. We see a lot of 'funny flowers' in folks grow rooms during spring, where winter was ice-cold, and they've been blooming into a warmer season. :)

some strains do that to me, throw a second flowering burst during the flowering phase.
It seems like it came at a good time and you'll get much better yield than if this issue haven't occurred.

I agree with this. Aren't over-stretched calyxes a sign of hear stress (pic 2)? As for pic one, less light or lack of P or K form weaker looser buds. Have to wait and see. Nebula is Paradise seeds I think. I don't like their weed (Acid)
