image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Hey guys since October I've been fucking around with planting seeds, box elder bugs killed my first set so I put my next set of babies in water bottles in early November with 2 standard bulbs. and in the past months I've been getting more into my plants as they have progressed so have I i switched to a closet in a spare room to solve the bug problem.
I have 2 small fans on high and for lights I got
1,Philips 10.5 w 700Lumen led bulb.

1, mudder 5w led grow light from amazon

1, 36 w twin tube verilux cfml36vlx

Wrapped the wardrobe in Mylar blankets and have a temp gauge but my humidity gets too high ? Any advice on how to get it down I have no ventilation and don't have room or outlet for a dehumidifier. I open the doors fanning it out daily dropping the rh down but i cant leave the doors open unattended the cats or bugs will get my plants. For Nutrients I use a herb tea time to time I'm not the best . I'm in 12-12 and i know i have low energy lights and that's not the best for young plants they wont grow big i wont yield much but i am scared to send my 2 mature plants back into veg. if any of you have comments or ideas or you just want to laugh at me just let me know :-o

Your lighting is a joke and will never produce any bud. The space blankets you used as mylar lining is likely too thin and only reflects 80% of the light. No venting isn't going to work without a dehumidifier.

Thanks for the imput brutal but true! I double wraped the mylar blankets in fear of being too thin. I've only spent like 60$ I'm total for this grow I know my lights are bad but I'm making due with what I have and I'm working on getting a dehumidifier and better lights ! Will see where this goes

Now is the time on the lights, the dehumidifier can wait 2 maybe 3 weeks. But you can't flower those without a better light, I doubt you would get even a joint's worth. Check craigslist if you are strapped for cash.

Cheapest new under $150 lighting option: http://www.amazon.com/Apollo-Horticulture-GLK600GW19-Digital-Dimmable/dp/B004L3AQ1U

thanks for the information man ill be on the look out on craigslist that's where i was planing on buying my dehumidifier from. Im worried with the 600 w setup in my closet it will be too hot +80 degrees should i go with a 250w light instead ? to keep the heat down, ill add the dimensions of the closet later when i feed the girls

You want between 5000 and 8000 lumens per square foot. Do not go less unless you want crap results.

My closet is 2.3"ft deep. 4.8"ft wide and 4.11"ft tall til the shelf. I got a humidifier but it's blowing on my mylar blankets and making hella noise so I gotta re wrap it or get some thumb tacks. Maybe both ! I orded up 2 60w full spectrum light bulbs for now till I can get a 600 w light

That will be enough to get you 2 joints worth of extra fluffy stuff, lol.

You would be better off putting them back in 18/6 until you get lights or toss all but 1 and put all the lights on it in a smaller box lined with mylar.

You are just wasting money, cancel that order if you can.

Im sorry to have to agree with every one else but that it not enough lighting to flower for anything worth while.

You are going to have to figure out some kind of ventilation as well, especially when you upgrade your lights. With the space you have I would go with a 400w light as opposed to a 600w, they both produce a fair amount of heat and will most likely need to be air cooled. A 400w I think will be easier to manage if you only have 5' of vertical growth. Good luck

Most likely yes, would have to be a very huge dehumidifier. A normal 15a breaker/fuse can handler 1800w, but 1500w is where you should try to limit yourself to, consider the 600w light to be more like 650 or 700w though.

Is this a stealth wardrobe?

Regardless of stealth you will still need ventilation, and as you upgrade your lighting the need for ventilation increases as well.

There are a couple stealth options you could pursue...

no its not stealth the only purpose of the closet is to keep the kittys and bugs out haha. but it seems like my best option is to go to home depot buy a piece of wood roughly the size and shape of my door cut it down to size mount it and mount and exhaust and induction fan to it like this picture
IMG_001647.JPG

ideally i would buy 2 pieces of wood and have one door be cold air in the other hot air out but thats alot of work and the closets are old i dont want to fuck up the closet and its screw anymore than i have to
