Weird coloring in late veg… help please?

For example, I had a plant once in the corner of a scrog that I basically had to jam the water in from one side and the water would rise evenly 2" above the pot and lower evenly, but it wasn't actually going in evenly and my outflow EC was consistently 1/2 of the inflow EC for weeks and slight deficiencies developed.

I then bought a wand and was able to distribute water slowly and evenly and the EC outflow corrected after a couple of days without changing the inflow EC. This can also happen with auto water systems and a slow hand watering here and there can fix any valleys that may have formed. This could also explain why you're getting runoff with not so much volume coming in.

Also, what is your PPFD?

What is the EC of your starting water? How many ml's per gallon of water are you using of Micro, Gro, Bloom?

Currently I’m at ml/gal:
2.5 micro
2.5 grow
1.2 bloom
3 tds calmag (leftover from previous grow trying to finish bottle)
Otherwise I do one batch of water with a few tsp of myco/gal.
*usually 7-9ml of ph down (diluted in tap at 1/10 ratio) to get ph in range.
Ph usually comes to 5.7-5.8 and sometimes drifts up to 6.0-6.1 requiring a bit more ph down.
My ppm usually comes in at about 500.

any time I’ve pushed ppm higher I’ve either made smaller batches with the same ratio OR made a 2x strength gallon using the same ratios above and added tap to bring down ppm.

Tap is at about 60. 7.4-7.5 ph.

I’m confident my watering is slow and even. I’m getting run off numerous places in bottom of the pot. Using watering cans with long necks…. Have pump sprayer if that is worth trying; but at this time I’m not inclined to think it is.

2.5/2.5/1.2 is what's on Dr. Coco's feed chart for late veg, but he's also using 5ml's of Diamond Nectar. I use Armor Si, 3-part, and Defguard with none of the additives, so I stick to the bottle directions, which are:

Ratio:
1/1/1 mild veg
2/3/1 agg veg
2/1/3 flower

and I use his EC recommendations and never have any problems. His EC recommendations at this stage is about 650 PPM (500scale), since you're also starting with 50 PPM water to start, it should be around 700 PPM. If your fertigating methods are on point, then the EC runoff difference is like what Billy mentioned.

Also, if your EC is consistently coming out at half, then I'm not sure why you figured you had a build up of salts and felt the need to flush? The best way to flush is to flush with a full feed until what comes out the bottom is about what you're putting through the top. It's more expensive and time consuming, but it's easiest on the plants.

Have you figured out what your PPFD approximately is? What's your light, dim setting, distance?

I thing was unclear/vague. I placed the seedlings from solos to the 5 gallon pot and a couple weeks in I got to watering @ 350ppm to far outside the rootball leading to a build up, so
I flushed 3-4 gallons of slightly under 200 through each to get them back down. From there it was a slow process to get ppm out to catch up with ppm in.

I’ve now put 500 even in for the past 48 hours and I’m coming out right at 450-500. And steadily increasing - slowly.

I’ll give Dr Coco some research and may hop on that train. 700 seems very reasonable…. Growth was quite vigorous when I was pushing higher PPMs. Still good growth at 500 but growth was rapid at 7-800.
