strains: 1x Green House - Great White Shark - Feminized
:
2x Green House - Big Bang - Feminized
:
1x KC Brains - White KC - Regular
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
lighting: 6 cfl's and they are equivalent to 100watts so 600watts they are the 23 watters if you dont know because i know that these cfl's are confuseing just trying to make it a little easier for people that dont know. but you shouldn't be commenting on this if you don't even know about the cfl lighting guide lol.

grow area: empty closet with tinfoil lined about 7ft tall and 4ft wide

medium: top quality soil from my local gardening shop, fertilizer is old banana peel with egg white and molasses blenderized and strained. it works good on other plants and its compleatly organic and it had good results on my last grow so hey when you find somthing that works you stick to it right? plus i'm not growing under hid lamps so no need for over fertilizing it and waisting money on those fancy fertilizers that don't do anything without the right grow conditions.

veg time: 3weeks

questions: opinion on grow space, yield, veg time, and if you are expearianced with these types of strains please share what your strategy was if it was a succsessfull grow.

thankyou in advance.

Well get rid of the tin foil. You will need more the 6 cfl's too. Use some sock wyes and add more. My cfl grow I had 20 in a 5'x 3' area mine was 484 actual watts 2000 equivalent. My friend in his computer desk we built even uses 12 cfl's and thats a 3x3. Just suggestions. If you want check out my old grow forums.

You lost me at 600 watts of cfls dude haha

Theres lots of info on the greenhouse seeds website with grow journals and final weights. They give pretty detailed outlines to get the most out of those plants. I've been looking into GWS outdoors but from what I've been reading so far it really does well in hydro with lots of nutes.
Goodluck :joint:

So.......
You have 138 actual watts of CFL's in a 4 foot wide closet.
How deep is it?
I have 305w in a 2x2 closet, and I think I could have used more, so of course I'm going to say you could use more.
For 4 plants, assuming the closet might be 2 1/2 feet deep, I would think you'd be good with about 6 or 7 times the lighting you have now if you continue with CFL's.
If you're going to add that much lighting of CFL's, you may as well go with something stronger.
What kind of plants did you use your soil with banana peel on before? Similar PH requirements?

You should check the actual wattage vs lumen output, my 26w 6500k CFLs are 100w eqivalent and puts out 1600 lumens. Haven't seen a 23w 100w equivalent, not sayin they don't have em' but, what is the lumen output, less I would think. And if I added my (actual wattage) I have about 382w = about 1400w alone in my closet for vegin 1 month olds. But that's a good start. If I count right you will have 9 plants, that won't fit in that closet so I would recommend only 5 at first (i did 6 in my 6ft wide 2.5 ft deep and 6ft tall closet) and foil works fine for me, just don't get ur plant 2 close, it does cause hot spots. Here's sum pics of my setup, it works for now but not finished yet, it's my first grow...

Ya I was looking at those cuz they were "flood" lights..lol.. You would expect it to have a higher lumen output...and where are you finding those 23w equivalents at, and do they put out 1600 lumens?..(ok saw that after the fact)
These are what I have, the mini spirals, hopin' they reach tight places...lol

The floods, I read the box (I still have the box from the 3 pack from Lowe's), and same with the CFL's.
GE stock# 298260/ flood ($20 I think), and Utilitech stock# 0252475 CFL 6 pack ($10 I think)
