Well Customs Won!!

Seedsman discreet shipping didn't work. They ship the product in a plastic type bag with a ball of yarn in it. By time it got to me it had been opened and taped back together. With a green sticker saying U.S Customs and border protection.

1. What's the odds?
2. Do I need to be concerned about police. (As my shipping address wasn't discreet)
3. Will they fix this problem?
4. THIS FUCKING SUCKS!!!!

Can't you get seeds in your country?

I buy all my stuff within Canada, no Customs.

You live in the USA?

Sorry that is horrible news. It may be possible to work with the vendor to get some help. Have you checked their policy on this type of situation? They may work with you to fix the problem.

I would however be somewhat aware / careful that your information is possibly with some form of LEO. If you're in a state/location where growing is illegal, you may want to reconsider for a little while.

I can't speak for Seedsman, but another company shipping from the EU told me that they have a 9/10 success rate of packages reaching their destinations.

Good thing you posted a detailed description of the discreet packaging.

I do 90% of my seed purchases from Seedsman.
Two purchases ago I ordered in late Sept. and the seeds did not show. I contacted them and they resent the order, both were stealth.
I got the second order in 14 days but I too was concerned about getting popped. Well in Feb., I received the original package, 5 months after I ordered it.
Getting a package open by customs is very rare, they have millions of package pass through customs daily.

Nothing will happen. Also as long as it was stealth and tracked, Seedsman will replace the order with no issue. They may want pictures of the customs crap but not a big deal. I've always got a decent stealth package from Seedsman, even with a $1000+ bitcoin order everything arrived on point with tons of freebies.

Split 4 ways. $250 each. 1 family member, 2 friends and me. 1 big bitcoin order. It came in a Lord of the Rings trilogy dvd tin case still sealed with stickers. It was stuffed full, Seedsman doubled the entire order plus a ton of freebies. I was amazed how the dvd tin looked legit new sealed.

Have been heaps sceptical about ordering from seedsman living where i do but the strains look too good i gotta take a chamce and drop some coin soon

It's such a deal that I described the discreet packaging. But yet it got caught. I don't think it's a big deal. Maybe customs thought it was weird that someone bought one fucking ball of yarn from overseas (was not even in a box) and decided to look at it. So maybe its best that its described so that kind of shitty Discretion doesn't happen again.

Or if your in the USA then you can use the plethora of stellar seed banks here. Then you can avoid customs all together.

I agree with the many. I buy my seeds in my country to avoid customs. In Canada you can get seeds from many breeders at almost every hydroponic shop or order on line and they arrive in a couple days. It avoids the possibility of them going missing.
