Yea I might as well get one of those.
I was prescribed cannabis for chronic back pain in July. I have smoked for years. I found after another back injury in sept. which ended up being a herniated disc that the MJ helped the spasms . After MRI's and a diagnosis of MS I found that it helps my spasticity alot. I get stiff depending on weather. MS as you know varies greatly. We all have common stuff, but everyone with MS I talked to has differences. Cold affects me, but some say heat gets them. It could give her some relief.
Yeah, it's crazy how different the effect can be on each person with that. It's just interesting to see how all the unusual treatments for it pan out. I'm sure you've noticed the surge of support over the last couple years from MS patients for the medicinal marijuana and the celebrities coming into the light about it, like Montell and what not.

I did #4 Cleo tonight. I'm thinking I'll leave the other 3 alone. I'll try some tying LST style. I figure I got a while till these 3 are ready to flower. The lemon skunk for my caregiver is doing good. 7,8, & 9 are coming along too.:leaf:

Well here's a bunch of pics of the Girls. I'm down to 9. I think #6 won't make it, but the Hippie Gardener thinks it has a chance. The 3 that I topped are recovering and showing new growth. #4 is amazing. She took off almost immediately, once the lower 4 future colas got some light. There is a close up of #4 and there is a petiole (sp?) below the lowest node that I thought was gone or it was buried. I assume I should wait to trim it when I put it in its 1 gal pot in the next week. I toyed with topping the other 3 but I won't. I think they need transplanted soon. They need watered every other day in the last week/10 days. The last watering they got Miracid at 50% str. (.5 tsp./gal) I'm going to go back to the F.E. this week. I'll throw in a 0-10-10 Bloom in there when I feel they need it.
I gave my caregiver his 2 today. I have more on that in a sec. #7,8,9 were ICU patients. I won't have room to flower them, so they're gonna become mom's. Never know if 1 or 2 of my 6 shit the bed also. #7 & #8 will let me retain this heavy Indica strain. It may be 2 different strains. The #9 is either Lemon Skunk or Hash Plant X Haze. I'm thinking it's not the Lemon Skunk after comparing it's leaves to some on here. I noticed it on Laceygirls pics. (her journal is sweet BTW. I'm in the 50's out of 80's) It need's topped to start vegging into a mum ;-) I might try it for my next grow. I'm thinking combining those 2 would be madness. Hash Plant x Haze takes longer to flower right? Will it's branch structure still work out for the topping UB-style? It seems that I would get 3 or 5. The first node is even then it get's uneven.
My caregiver came over today to bring me my meds. Blue Dream again. Seems to help my spasticity pretty well. He said the guy who was using the aero-cloner I built for him lost 23 out of 25 clones that they were trying. This kid has No Clue. I explained what to do again. He didn't really get it. He wanted me to help so I said I would show him how to prep them. Then He ended up asking me to clone them for him. So for a eighth (or more) I'll do it. I have nothing else to do, and my Mother/Clone area is pretty empty for a few weeks anyway. I should get them done in a couple weeks. After a brain-numbing few minutes of trying to explain it, off we went to get his plants from my grow room. I showed him patiently what I meant. He asked why he couldn't get clones from the 3,4,5,6 nodes. I had to tell him they were WAY too small. This kid (he's 25) is killing me sometimes. He's in a hurry to replace the 25 clones they lost. He brought me some fucking branches to clone last time. Took me over 2/3 weeks to get into dirt. So this time it'll be done the way I would do it or he's on his own. :wall: I'm learning how to cope with this MS and I think some mild OCD/germaphobia/anti-social/agoraphobia may be getting to me. Patience is hard for me now. (not that I was known for an abundance) I did some yard work last sat, that 1 year ago I would have considered very light. I paid for it for a couple days. Now this sat, and sun, I did even less. This fatigue is killing me. I'm 33, used to manage a bar, landscaped my ass off, and remodeled a house. Now I'm living at my moms on the other side of the state. Thank god for her letting me work on this. I'm gonna try to sell my house again this summer, and look into growing cannabis to sell to caregivers. Sorry to ramble. Sunday night around midnight I give myself an injection of Avonex. It's side effects are like a bad hangover with a flu-like body ache. So I try to smokebongsmilie and get ready to put a 1" needle into my thigh muscle. I think of it as a drug to help put this MS on pause.
I folar sprayed a bunch of the Hippie Gardener's flower beds and shrubs with Fish Emulsion today. I also feed some plants the Miracid yesterday. It's making me reload all the pics so I'm gonna ramble some more I guess. Even though THIS was when it killed my pic progress. I'm gonna talk the Hippie Gardener into letting me make a DIY Fridge Grow Cabinet. Well off to shoot up:-( then:joint: up

Sorry to hear it, I've watched my mom go through the same thing so I know it's really hard :( She has problems with OCD and dirt as well which has gotten a lot worse. I guess you just have to find what combination of stuff works for you. For her, she needs to be able to nap daily, takes daily injections, stick to her diet and avoid lots of work or stress. Have you heard of the MS diet? I'm sure you are aware that certain foods help replace the fatty covering (myelin was it?) that covers the nerves while other foods help to further degrade it. It's really tough, cuz it's giving up a lot of really nice foods (red meat, saturated fats, regular dairy) but the results are really good and have helped her improve or at least slow down and at times halt the progression.

We finally gave up on Suki #6. She wasn't getting roots going. Here's a couple pics. I transplanted 5 of the 9 into bigger (1 gal.) pots today. The 3 I topped I'll give a couple days. #7 is lagging behind too so I'll wait for it for a bit. I'll get pics tomorrow.

Here's another update.
I transplanted 5 into bigger pots. #2, #5, #10 definitely needed it. I also wanted #9 into the bigger pot to get it deeper. I topped it tonight. From the nodes alternating I'm not sure how it'll respond. I have a feeling it will be 6 or 8. Which is what I want as it is a mum for my next crop. The strain will need to be on it's own.
#8 was curling on the lower leaves, and I tried a couple things over a couple days. I decided I wanted it in my new soil. I think my soil mix being off is what has slowed me down. (a piece, but not all) They seemed to recover quickly, so my technique must be good. They seem little now that the pots are bigger and they are buried deeper instead of huge in the 4 in pots.
I'm going to wait for the three I topped. They are kicking out new growth. #4 Cleo (which is short for Cleopatra) is definitely my favorite. #7 is lagging behind, but I folar feed it some Fish Emulsion water tonight. I'll do that again in the morning. When it needs watered it'll get some weak F.E too. It's color is too pale. I think I'll top it after the 3rd node to get 6 then prune it into a mother too.
I mounted the fan that was behind them when they were in the 4in pots onto the wall facing them. It's below the other fabric bladed Zippi fan and above the fan keeping my 400 w ballast cool. I adjusted the bulb and got the temps staying between 78 and 86 with a 66 to 68 overnight. The plants are about 12" to !4" away at their closest. I'll get another update in a couple days.

Quick update. #4 Cleo got watered last night and grew well overnight, I'll transplant it later today. My Security Guard defended my grow room from the Hippie Gardener's last pair of tennis shoes.View attachment 894686

Ugh I wanted to view your current grow, but all it did was make me want more space lol. I'm watching from this point on let's do this.

I'm already planning a flowering chamber out of a gutted out fridge and a 150W CMH to put in the garage. Building stuff and learning to grow good meds is my physical therapy.

That sounds like my style. I've always built to suit my growing needs. I can't see wasting money on all the pre-fab grow tents and cabs etc. I've always had a vision of creating the greatest grow fridge ever, but the neccessity and spare time has never been there. A fridge has all the advantages cabinet growers seek, plus it's easy to find.

Here's some pics of the girls from a couple days ago and 2 pics from tonight. I topped #8 above the 3rd node as it will be a mother or maybe into my next project. A pic of Cleo from tonight shows how she's taking off. The three I topped are showing the four new leading branches clearly. They are all loving the new dirt and bigger pots. :joint:
I went to Northern WY on Sat with the Hippie Gardener to visit my Grandparents. We helped Grandpa trim up some Clematis and roses this morning. Those are the plants grandma can see from the patio. She had a stroke a few years back. My grandfather had an unbelievable garden when I grew up. I feed them with a 18-24-16 to give them a boast for the spring. Here's a couple pics of my guard dog. They didn't upload right.

Soil Analysis Report

I got my report back from Texas A&M System. $15 for an analysis is great. They were pretty fast too (like 5 days, and round-trip just over a week). Here's the website http://soiltesting.tamu.edu
It says.

pH 6.5
Conductivity 813
N 22 (it says to add .3lbs/1000 sq ft.)
P 225
K 706
Calcium 1,569
Magnesium 410
Sulfur 193
Sodium 369
Iron 29.18
Zinc 4.82
Manganese 14.15
Copper 1.89

I'll add .5 cups blood meal to the 2 sq. yards of soil I have left for the transfer to the final 4gal pots. Does that sound like enough, yet not too much? Once again thanks UB for the simplest, fastest, and cheapest route to answer my ? about the soil mix

Yea really on guard. Most of the time he'll wake up IF I trip on him. He chased a deer in the back yard a few weeks ago. When it stopped and started to turn around he bolted back to the Hippie Gardener and I pretty quick. He's a chicken, yet looks like a Bull.

Hey everybody
The after effects of the shot I give myself on Sunday nights was better than almost all of them since I started taking it in Jan. It was like a wicked hangover with a flu feeling. Today by 9 I felt pretty good.
I finished rebuilding my aero-cloner. I re-drilled it for eight 3/8 holes and plugged the old holes with hot glue. I put some Duck Tape over the holes to make sure NO light leaked. I made the 8 tubes with the foil to label them.
I built an aero-cloner for my caregiver a couple months ago. His dog knocked it over, he lost all 18 a few weeks ago. He told me last week that he gave it to a patient to get them clones. He lost all 18, and 7 others. I asked what they did and couldn't tell from the little he knew. I offered to get 18 cloned for him with the cloner and explained how to harvest them. We had to go down stairs to my room to show him what I meant. I had him bring the unit I made him to clean it and make sure it was ready. It was crusted with a build up that reminded me of years of hard water. We cleaned it with light vinegar water. I had a hell of time getting clones going last time for us. I had him bring all extra tops so I could pick better. He said they put a cloning thing he didn't remember the name of in the water. I'm gonna teach him yet.;-) He is learning. I'm getting 1/8 of meds or more if it becomes a Pain in the ass. I'll get a buddy to plant the 8 of mine outdoors. Just for fun.
We figured we should get more practice and we have a couple weeks before it becomes Fall in that room. Here's some pics.
