We're Buying Mexico A New Wall

Some people confuse book value with net value, liquid has nothing to do with it. Just ignore the billions in loans.

If I buy a million dollar house with 10% down, I have net worth of $100,000. Not TRUMP!, he would count it as a million.

Still, my guess is he may be a billionaire. Not by much though.
Correct. Also, banks caught on to his little ponzi shell game of loans to pay off loans, which is why he had to file for bankruptcy..he even said it in one of those cable bio's..HBO..ran out of places to pay off coming notes payable due.

You are right, but it still counts in net worth. Of course he is leveraged. He might be so leveraged that the whole thing is ready to fall apart unless it gets help from somebody powerful - like the President. Or even more powerful - like Putin. Looks like we won't know in Donald's lifetime.

Trump supporters don't respect America or they would demand that he release his taxes.
Because NOT paying taxes is smart:wink:

More like cunning and crafty, with a bit of ruthless and sociopathic thrown in.
He's actually quite stupid because he doesn't know how to make his money work for him.

He constantly invests in projects that go under.

The Apprentice was a novel idea that's seen its time.

He's done nothing; takes credit for everything.

Thanks, Donald!

I did this......about 15 years ago I took down an old wood fence along my back yard. I put up a new redwood fence with a lattice top. A few day later my neighbor came over to complain that the new fence was on their property. I handed them the receipt & said "Congratulations you have a new fence & you saved $3,000"........the fence is still there today
Did you locate property corners? I ran a land survey crew for about 8 years and I can't count the number of times we were called out to a property line dispute over a new fence having been built without locating property corners. About 80% of the time, the corners were there and a simple metal detector and shovel was all that was needed to locate them and save a big headache for both parties involved.

How fun.

President Cheeto says he can't get the Mexican Govt to pay for the wall after all. No prob- send the bill to the US citizens. Our taxes (not Cheat-O since he proudly pays no taxes) will buy it.

How predictable. Promise the impossible to get elected by people who believe in the impossible.
I thought that his plan to make Mexico pay for the wall/fence was to divert funding that has been going to Mexico in order to pay for it?

He wants to renegotiate NAFTA and essentially tax products that come from mexico. Wich yes, may fund some border projects. But, will also raise the price of a lot of products we use. So to say mexico is will pay for it is not true, the consumers will pay for it.

I was talking about billionaires in general and not Trump specifically, but I agree with your assessment.

Yeah I knew it was a few inches over the line, but there were renters in the house & I didn't think they would care. I had talked to the owners about the fence before they moved out & rented the house out. I told the owners that if they took the new fence down, I would split the $3000 to rebuild it 6" over. I told them to call me when they had the $1500......I never got a call

As much as I think Trump is a piece of shit Orange Hitler...

To find success in business you will probably fail some (if not most) of the time.

This formula is not compatible with political life where people's lives are literally on the line.

This guy is kind of a legend in the West. A real self made billionaire, even squeaks by Trump by a clean two hundred million, and I'll bet it isn't leveraged.

Early lifeEdit

Born in Grand Ronde, Oregon in 1929, and lived his early years in meager surroundings. He attended school while his father, R.H. "Curly" Emmerson built sawmills in Oregon and California.

CareerEdit

In 1948, at age 19, Emmerson arrived in Arcata, California where he began working in mills learning as much as he could about every job in the plant.

In 1949 Emmerson and his father formed a partnership and went into the lumber business together, eventually producing manufacturing facilities in the northwest. Under Emmerson’s management the company grew into Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) – now the second largest lumber producer in the U.S.

As of 2011, he is the third largest private land owner in the United States.[2]

PhilanthropyEdit

Through the Sierra Pacific Foundation, Emmerson gave millions of dollars in community contributions. The Foundation was established in 1979 by Red’s father. Over the years, Red has continued to fund the Foundation to meet its philanthropic commitment to worthy organizations, community projects, youth activities, and student scholarships for the communities where the company has operating facilities.[3]

Personal lifeEdit

He is married with three children and lives in Redding, California.[1] His sons George and Mark are president and chairman of SPI.

The deed to my property was changed to 'square it off' 20 yrs. before I bought it. Mutual agreement between neighbor and previous owner.

A guy negotiating to buy the neighbor's property started staking off a few lots that I owned saying he was going to put a doublewide there.

I asked my lawyer if I could let him build there and claim it as my own and he said, 'No, you have to tell him it's your property first, I'll call him.'

I always wondered the compensation thing would have went in court if I let him build there without telling anyone.
