Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I just can't get any of my seeds started.
Last time I did an AG grow, I started three seeds in 3 tomatoe pods for the AG. I just put them in and in about 3 days I had sprouts and the ones that didn't sprout ended up sprouting in about the next 7 days. One very late comer about 9 days after the first ones. The grow went great until I had to leave the whole thing for an extended absence and ended up getting root rot.
Anyway, I've tried to revitalize the AG, starting fresh but I didn't have any starter nutrients so I tried to sprout out the seeds in a paper towel like everyone talks about to no avail. I tried about 10 seeds. So I asked for advice on other options. Someone mentioned putting them in the freezer for a day to simulate a winter period, then put them in warm, not hot, water for a day or so until the seeds were puffy and then put them in paper towels in a plastic container or bag and then put them in a warm place until they sprout. I did this with 4 seeds because I'm running out of seeds. Two sprouted but when I transplanted them into the pods for the AG and now they've just stopped growing. I haven't used any nutes or anything because everyone always says that they are too strong for the beginning sprouts.
