what are some nice strains????

hey jus wanted ppl to fire off a few names of some seeds i can sprout it will be my first time growing from non bag seed and there is just to much choice
would like to grow some think that is colourful and fruity
also quite like the idea of growing vanilla kush, can any 1 tell me about what is smells like (i kno ppl will say vanilla but sone strains dont always smell like what there called lol) and yeild ext.

Just say no to Barney's Farm. Seriously, them and Greenhouse have been supplying the world with midgrade for years, and buying cup victories because they can. Try someone better, like Sannie's, Sensi, Serious, DNA, Dinafem, Homegrown Fantaseeds, Soma, Mr. Nice, or pretty much anything other than BF and GHS. I'm running a bunch of stuff from Mandala, got some great looking plants that are 5-6 weeks into flowering, have nice trich volumes, and great smells. I have a fruity smelling Satori that looks like it will have a monster yield of trich-heavy buds. Just show around, there's like a bazillion seed banks out there. Honestly, you can tell the better breeders because they just let their product speak for itself, instead of trying to hype the shit out of it.

Ive grown some awsome Blue cheese from Barney's and its one of my fav to smoke.(but them geneticks are hard to fuck up)

I have moved away from the politics of the brands and focus more on quality.
Greenhouse and Barney's popular fem seeds are a definate NO NO. Their rushed in-out no quality controle.

she surprised me, i bough cheap rokerij and smoke is good.

Ken's GDP is kinda fruity or floral and gets some purple to the buds on some phenos. Strong and excellent high.

Lavender by Soma. Great plant. Nice colors during flowering. Open the jar and it smells exactly like Lavender

if you can afford it, DJ shorts' purple colored grape krush sounds awesome. i'd like to breed that with a haze for a grapier haze.

color is more of a novelty to me, but on the flavor front, my two favorites are by DNA genetics
sweet haze - extra fruity, really sticky, & much better than average haze high as it has some real trippiness going on where a lot of hazes are more just clear headed and euphoric. it's ALMOST my favorite strain, but TGA's jack's cleaner 2 had a trippier buzz with a really cool touchy feely aspect i've only experience once before with short stuff's onyx. that one tastes nasty to me, but the buzz is awesome
sour cream - a little too stony for me, but at least not KO stony, but it has a really cool slightly sweet & fruity cream cheese flavor that's very classy.

i bet sannies' chocolate rain is pretty good as his gear has a lot of universal love for quality across the board. i can't remember any other flavor strains he has, but if he does, i'd bet those are great too.

if you ask me, DJ short's blueberry is overrated. it's stony like skunk #1 which i don't like, and the two times i've scored some, it was underwhelming tasting. it was exactly like having a single grain of artificially flavored blueberry sugar on your tongue. a lot of hazes are fruitier than that.

i've also tasted more authentic flavors like pineapple in a bud i scored once, lavender *BLECH* it's like taking a bath in perfume, diesel (onyx) yuck again there... it's a flavor only a gearhead could love, crushed red pepper in ORIGINAL kali mist which is now just fruity & spicy and one of the most authentic flavors of all... licorice in durban poison. not my thing at all, but it's very convincing.

you might want to look into the effects of lighting on flavor too as i got a very grapey taste out of my super cali haze freebie with hints of grape too from my joey weed C99s under a halide, but when i grew the cross of the two i made out under a sodium, i got more of a generic fruity flavor. my handle's a tribute to how apeshit i went when i tasted the super cali the first time and it tasted like straight up grape juice. maybe the two times i tried blueberry, it was grown under sodiums too. when i get the chance, i want to compare the effects of each light type on clones for both flavor & THC profiles. i'm not sold on sodiums yet.

Dna's lemon skunk was great,little tall and small to average yeild..I loved the smoke but shit canned her for the sharksbreath (both were freebies when I ordered blackjack and a few others years ago)...sharksbreath is a keeper..the only negative qualities are you have to tie up even the lower branches due to heavy buds,they eat nutes like a hippy at a hummus convention,and if you don't have carbon filters,a big blue ionizer and distant neighbors,some one will smell you for sure..tastes like lemon deisel skunk fuel, and travelling with it is NOT an option..plus side is it makes bbeautiful hash,beautiful smoke,best BHO I've ever had,edibles waste you,and tolerance buildup is minimal...hope my opinion helps..I'm sharksbreath fo' lyfe!

oh yeah, i LOVED DNA's lemon skunk freebie! i do not like "fake sativa" skunk #1 much except it's better than even more afghani dominant street beasters, but lemon skunk has a nice neutral to up euphoric high that even has a little bit of psychoactivity. the lemongrass flavor under halide was nice and the golden glow the plant makes only adds to it's quality. it has a lot of attention to detail and a nice HIGH that other skunks stone you with. i plan on getting at least another fem and if it were made a UFO a 3rd time, i'd order SOMETHING just for that for sure.

i'm hoping SOMA's buddha's sister lives up to it's cherry flavor in a pure indica description. it's nice that it's resinous too, but i just want the most concentrated flavor i can get for my own crosses.

the range of flavors you can get is really nice. in the grape department, grape stomper and krush are 2 strains i'm most interested in, but da purps and some other strains sound interesting too.

if i didn't say it already, if you want your fullest flavors, use halides for fuller spectrums. i got straight up grape juice flavor out of super cali haze under my halide that i didn't get when i tried it's offspring with slightly grapey joey weed C99 as expected. i want to re-test it again under halides and see if if still maintains some of that flavor.

if i had the time and space, ace's oldtimer's (purple) haze sounds like an easy match with grape krush at least for color and flavor besides being interesting in it's own right.

how can you give a proper oppinion on a strain when you have grows like this you use 16 oz cups for flower and you chop way too early. don't quit your day job hazey I don't know what we would do without your page long posts of misinformation.

I'm currently smoking on some Sannie's Herijuana, very easy to grow plant for beginner. TGA Subcool's gear isn't half bad, either. I recently did a few rounds of Plushberry and Vortex, both very pretty with loads of crystals, but I wouldn't really recommend them to a friend, other than to sample and see, maybe. Currently got some Querkle, LA Confidential, Herijuana, Chucky's Bride, Caramel Candy Kush, Santa Maria, Chocolate Rain, Extrema, New Blue Diesel, and some Killing Fields coming along nicely. I also have some other strains to follow once I have some room, due to legal limits. I never had any issues ordering from Sannies, Attitude, or Hemp Depot. Happy growing, man!
