what are the most important factors a grower can control to get a certain type of high?

Aside from the obvious which is choice of genetics.
The ones I am aware of are time of harvest (guided by trichome color) and time spent curing.

Are there any others?

Lets say I wanted to make the final product as energizing as possible (even if I have indica genetics). What Would I do?

Mix some coke with the cured bud to get an energizing high. Mix PCP with it to make it some bomb one hit shit. you will have to experiment to see which drug combinations get you your desired high.

Other than that I think you covered it.

i think the harvest time is about the only thing that is a certainty to work, i have strains that you can cut at 6 weeks for a buzz or 13 weeks to sleep, everything in between is a pretty intense combination of both.

lighting spectrum may have an effect but it would be strain and environment dependant i would have though.

seriously though, who wants to smoke an indica to get energised? lol
