What are the negatives,

if any, of putting a plant that was just harvested back into 18/6 light and then using this plant as a mother plant for clones???

There have been plenty of threads on here about revegging plants. The consensus is, you can do it. But it may take longer to reveg than grow new plants from seed.

H-mmm! That is an interesting question! One point that seldom gets mentioned is that each time a plant gets "revegged", the yield deminishes quite a bit! For this reason, I have never actually done it. But I get the impression that after 2 or 3 times the plant just "poops-out".

If this is true, revegging can't be doing the plant any good. I would think you would want to use your "best specimen" for a mother, rather than "damaged goods". On the other hand, a proper recouperation and rejuvination might "even things out".

It should be interesting to hear what others have to say!
