so i stripped all the leafs with eggs on it and so far so good. i dont see any creepy crawlys and the plants doing well. i still have no idea what they were but i think im good so thanks for all the help guys

im about 90% sure you have aphids man....horrible thing if so, I have them in my garden right now and I worked all fucking day trying to kill the root eating bastards....they are silent killers man u dont see them or even know they are doing anything, then one day your plant just falls over dead....i picked a couple of plants up this morning to check out the root growth, and i saw it.....little black white brown and green specs clinging to my roots...check it out man you have to be sure...
