What Are These Growths? Pics Inside

so i noticed these growths on the main stem of one of my plants recently and I was wondering if anybody could help me identify what it is? is the plant going hermie or is this some sort of calyx or something?

By the way... this is a first time grow and was actually just started as an experiment but ended up producing a decent little plant from some bag seed.

Nice nug from bag seed man! I bet that nug looks better than what you got it from...

and oops sorry, not sure what That might be, doesnt really look like hermi thogh IMO

yeah this plant is looking much better than the bag from which the seed came from. it dropped quite a few leaves as soon as it started to flower... actually like within a few days the biggest fan leaves turned yellow and dropped but it has been doing fine ever since and the nugs have more that doubled in size over the last 2 and a half weeks. just wondering about the growths... doesn't seem like anything major but I figured that it wouldn't hurt to ask.

are you talking about the calyices in where the stems meet the main stem?

They're just single flowers with a little pistil coming out... the same thing your buds are made of.

that's what i was thinking also... i was just a little unsure because they all of the sudden started popping up on the main stem and sort of near nodes.... there have been no changes in the buds or any sign of bananas growing so i kind of figured it wasn't a hermie. thanks for your input, i appreciate it.

crappy internet is causing a double post.

Its not a hermie, most older plants throw these at this stage. Looks like a good smoke.
