If you grow in a fairly large growroom with multiple fans but your temp is in the high 80's (for a few hours a day) what are the consequences?

umm, you're looking at dried up soil ( assuming you are using soil) You may encounter wilting and possible yellowing. What's the humidity % ?

I guess as long as you have fans going for air circulation it should be good. What's your light schedule like?

You've got a good point, where did you hear that weed stops growing at 95 degrees?

Yea, in Costa Rica, Columbia etc day time temps are regulary in the mid 90s especially during their summer months of Nov-March. They grow some good stuff at those temps. In my closet I do try to keep it below 90 as best I can.

that is verry true, but I've read many places that plant growth stops completly in the high 90's, I think that is juusst an untrue statement

Easy answear! It all depends on the strain you are using.. I have some plants that can handle 85 but others dont.. remeber what ever the temp is DO not let it fluc more then 5degrees!!! otherwise yuor going to permote mold.. Under that high temp you will find backing deminish and if its heat struck, Usually to close to bulb the hairs stand up..
Yellowing of plant and droopy, the plants are not able to breath proper eaither therfor resperation shut down prity much so they wilt... Your humidity is low, but 40 is ok.. It tels me that there is a BIG temp difference in your garden form light on and off, but maybe not. watch the fluc between temp..

Now if you added co2 to the grow youd be perfect as you want 80-85 with co2.Without 80 will be ok but higher then that will slow growth and add stress which hurts the yield and strength of the plants.Sativas tend to do better if its warmer then indicas as indicas do well in cooler temps
