What do you do with all the leftovers?

Smoking stems and roots.... :spew:

So anyways, stems and roots along with the larger fan leaves and soil go into the outdoor compost to rot with kitchen scraps. Several weeks later they turn into fertilizer.
I hope to get some sort of 'indoor' soil recycling/compost situation set up so that I can feel better about re-using the soil and also save some money.

Any remaining 'sticky-scraps' get ground up and placed into a section of PVC-pipe that is sealed on the top (with a small hole), a filter on the bottom...and subsequently flooded with copious amounts of liquid butane. It drips out the bottom into a collection dish, boils itself away at ambient temperatures and leaves a lovely golden oil.
(Kids (and less intelligent adults): don't do this without elder supervision. Also: don't let the elder smoke around you whilst doing this under their supervision.)

Ya mean smoke it in a big pile out back? Call it downwind delight!

Ferreal though. Wouldn't burning all that stuff just stink in a incriminating sort of way? And composting just leaves evidence around for a good while before it disappears. There are some serious fibers in the MJ that, I would think, hang around for quite a while in a compost heap.

I would be composting mine as well, but the heap of MJ leaves hanging around worries mel. When I burn leaves and stems etc., I find it stinks more like burning yard waste than dope.

Leaves and stems can be chopped, ground up or at least broken into smaller pieces. Then when mixed in with a substantial amount of other decomposed/decomposing vegetative matter they really aren't identifiable. Even whole leaves, once detached it soon shrivels up and either dries out and becomes crumbly or it rots.

Obviously you shouldn't make it so apparent that if somebody glances at your compost pile/receptacle they just see a heap of straight cannabis by-products. Otherwise it wouldn't be easy to ascertain without a careful examination or even analysis by a lab.
A way to hide the remnants, but still recycle those nutrients back into the environment would be to simply bury it all a couple feet deep, in the garden if possible. It is highly unlikely it would even last long enough to be found, let alone used as evidence against you.

True enough, though my compost pile would probably be comprised of about 90% MJ leaves unless I started clearing some brush. :)
