Hey guys got a new grow set up going on heres the details

5x5x7' Light House Hydro Tent
400w Revolt Ballast w/ 400w PlantMax bulb
1000w JD Lighting Ballast w/ 1000w PlantMax bulb
2- 6'' Cool Tubes
6'' Mtn Gearsmith Inline Outake Fan w/ 26'' Carbon scrubber
8'' Mtn Gearsmith Inline Fan For Cooltubes
Sentinel EVC-2 Controller
20lb Co2 tank with Sentinel 120v Regulator
Control Wizard Products 24/7 pH/PPM/Tempature Monitor
1 Gal Humdifier

I plan on filling this tent up with in the next week so keep your eyes peeled!

Looks good. How are you going to cool it? With 1400 running in there it will get of and your exoust fan (set for high temp) will always be on. Wasting or not using the co2. And if it's sealed properly using co2 humidity is high so a dehumidifier might be needed in flower. Just a few things I spotted. And something you might of overlooked. or not.

Looks like a pretty penny has been spent, nice. Might want to minimize duct length to increase air flow and avoid and curvatures you can. Other than that I'm curious what your temps going to be looks like it might be a problem but only one way to find out. Dehumidifier for sure though.

well we have an 8'' inline fan that moves 733 CFM for the cool tubes, the intake for it is ducted directly infront of the window ac. The room itself is going to be cooled with the a/c and the 6'' inline fan with carbon scrubber will be pullin cool ac air in from the passive intake vents. Also going to have a verticle fan inside the grow tent. The controller will make sure the co2 is not running when the outake fan is running. I think with 2 industral sized inline fans, an a/c running, and a fan inside the tent it will keep it cool. the 1000w ballast is also only going to be run at 50% so it will produce less heat.

Thanks for the input guys ill keep ya updated to tell ya what my temps stay at.

So your going to have a 1000 run a 600 bulb at 500watts? And yes the house AC running in the room at 60 will keep the tent cool. But fan will be on almost 10 min after lights come on till 20 after lights out. So you won't get the co2. Not trying to be a dick. Just letting you know. I had a 4x4x7 with only a 600 and tried the same thing. 2weeks went by hitting my head agents the wall. I just got pissed and cut a hole in the tent and placed a window AC right to it. And wasted alot of money and time trying not to do that.

nice set up and nicely organized. with that being said, i do agree with others with all the turns u have, especially considering some of those angles wont do well when lights are raised.

and i do have a question about the co2 and the fan..

If your room that the tent is in is fairly small and your tent circulates from that room back in.. with that being said if the fans cut off about 20 mins every x amount of hours(obviously not sure of timing per cubic ft) at the same time the co2 run 15-20 mins.

My hypothesis being that the plants would experience a full co2 environment for a good 15-20 mins and heat shouldnt get to bad, and then once fans kick back on that air will be exchanged outside of the room and eventually back in , depending on the amount of co2 being emitted?

again this is a question, havent done quite so much research on co2 compared to other things.

It looks great man. One thing though, it's gonna be awfully fucking hot in there. I know you get a few more degrees of upper range with a high CO2 ppm, but i think you're going to be exhausting too much from that little box to see much benefit. I'd redo the ducting too. It looks rather inefficient that way. That's negligible, but a bad ducting route turns a 600 cfm fan into 400 cfm pretty fast.
Overall though, yeah man you'll get some buds if you can control your temps.

Dank, the plants have been in there for over a week. Temps stay at 86*F. Some would say thats high but thats only with the cool tubes running. And the plants dont seem to mind it. We dont even have an outake fan with carbon filter yet. Just a fan blowing on the plants. But ya the amount of air that is coming out the end of the cool tube run is blowing pretty hard we even have it running at 75% on a speed controller. The Cool Tube Fan is pulling air in from outside right now and it is still very cool around my area so its doing an excellent job of cooling the bulbs down. You can actually hold your hand on the cool tube glass that has the 1000w bulb in there! Id say thats pretty damn cool. Well untill i see any problems were just gonna keep runnin it like this. I think you wouldn't regret it if you made the effort to drop it down closer to 75. Its not gonna affect the life of the plants just the yield/quality
Well if he is co2 enriching his sweet spot will go up by 5-7 degrees easily. Keep that in mind. Co2 raises the temp that plants metabolize ideally. For the OP, that sounds good man as long as you still have an additional way to bring it down a couple degrees when the ambient temps go up with the seasons. Which you said you did. I forsee some big ass buds in your future. You've done the right work.

edit- BTW, Some of your gear is really pro man, i wish I could have started with something like that! Growing weed is 90% logistics, and problem solving. Once you get a room rocking....it's just cruise control from there on out!

well i started out in a closet with CFLS, this is my 4th grow and ive aquried all these things over time. Yes the ambient temperature will get hotter as we get farther into the season but we are going to put an A/c Window Unit in the room and the cool tube ducting will then be relocated so that it is sucking in cool a/c air and pulling it over the bulbs, and be exhausted back outside.

Again we are still waiting for our scrog grow to be done so we can take the fan out of the closet and put it in the new grow tent with a new Carbon Filter i am ordering. Im sure that will help cool things down a little more if we need to.

I am going to try and get a new controller though. The Sentinel CHHC-4 Has a PPM controller built right into it and measures the PPM in the grow tent so it is very accurate. This unit also has a photocell on a remote whip so i can mount the controller outside of the tent.

Thanks guys cant wait to see the outcome!
