***UPDATE***

Today is day 4 of this thread, I'm on day 74 of flowering (10 1/2 weeks).

I was going to havest today since the growing has slowed almost to a hault, all the trics are milky some amber, and the calyxs are fat, but the fact that the most of the plant still has white pistils (shrinking and dying slowly now these last 36 hours) made me stop. And I did something I've never done.

I decided to harvest two bottom fully developed popcorn branches. I've never partially harvested, but I know alot of people do, and this will let me know if the rest of the plant is okay to go. I just figured it would be a real waste of time to harvest it all and say "damn, I coulda gone another week."

So I am drying this little 7 gram stash, and I'm not going to cure it all before I taste it to make the final decision. So you all (those who are still subscribed) should hear back from me in the next 3-5 days to see what I'm going to do. Then I will post the harvest pics. Last time I harvested the mother and realized I had another week, so I marked that point and harvested her clones there and it was perfect.

can we see a pic of the full plant not just the top half!!

Yeah Man! One Entire plant pic coming up.

The drying box makes it look small, and actually it kinda is. The plant is 21" tall, the cola is a solid 9".

Pic 1 is of the entire plant next to the dry-box.

Pic 2 is a comparison in girth next to my mandolin.

Pic 3 is a semi- close up of the cola.

In the same boat. My "decision day" is on the calendar for this Friday but I may wait.

Pop a little off into the microwave and see how it tastes.

Don't be sad if you think you should have waited, life is long, the high will still be good and you can always sprout another seed.

Keep us all posted...

Thanks guys for all your kind words. Still alot of fresh pistils and slow growth so I don't see myself harvesting in the next few days. But I will let you all know when the time comes.

I have found through my research that alot of strains dont fallow the turning process accordingly(as for the pistils) I have even read some strains dont have a turnover point, the pistils just stay white........

Hey Guys,

Again thanks for all of your support, and advice. As previously stated the issues with this plant were Ph related, which caused a lock-out of nutrients (I believe Mag. just as chucktownskunk predicted). I agree that this plant is small. I only vegged it for 40 days before beggining to flower. I realize now I should've waited longer. Its a haze strain, however I'm not exactly sure which kind. I cut a branch a couple days ago to dry and sample to see if I think its ready (which just as many of you say, I think it is ready I'm just wanting to double check) but unfortunately I came down with an upper respiratory infection and held off on smoking for a couple of days. Today I feel a lot better and think I will give it a final test...... This will determine what I do next.

I want to thank all of you for hanging in there with me, makes the wait a little easier. Hopefully I will not keep you waiting much longer. I just feel bad cutting her seeing how her foxtails are still growing (slowly). I will keep you all updated.

Take it easy,
BlessAmerica

It's all about the trichs. When they are the color you want, harvest then. If you let it sit you'll just end up with more amber trichs and a little more weight of bud that's not the same high as you want. Worth it? Probably not. Chop it! :bigjoint:
