what does it mean when someones rep is black not green?

i have two positive reps on my record but i get no points from them because they are black and not green, ive heard of negative rep but i dont even see a button for that and they are not negativly repped due too the comments so im not sure. and the people who have repped me have rep themselfs.

i think mods can turn off the rep for them self run the courser over the black box,you will see

i dont want to disable rep i like rep, i'm just wondering why some of the rep you get is a black bar instead of a green one

Do the people who repped you have at least 100 rep points?

You have to have 100 rep points yourself before your rep will count when you rep another member.

you used to be able to click the lil bubble that said i approve and it gives indifferent rep no points awarded i have it from a couple of nubs that said i gave good info but they thought my name "mc chokes on dick." friggin losers

well that makes better sense too choose how many points to give, now you gotta wait for someone with lots of rep too rep you soo you get lots of points! 1 guy repped me i got like 80 points lol

What about red dots? I got quite a few of them hahaha. I think they are infractions cause the mods can get butt hurt sometimes.

Those are neg reps, meaning they can be from any elite member.

You don't have any infractions.

Green dots are +reps.

Gray dots are neutral reps. This is eithe a +rep or -rep given by a user without enough posts or rep for their rep to have any weight.

Red dots are neg reps. On this forum mods and paid users have the ability to neg rep.
