what effects potency

What effects potency of a plant. I kno there's things to make the yield bigger but anything to make the actual plant give u more of a high. And if so that means that plant of the same strain can give off diffrnt highs. Thanks in advanced.

i have read from one of those old indoor grow books and a little off the internet... is that your plant will only be as potent as the mother/strain it comes fromlyou can only grow the plant in a healthier manner and get a better yeild, but you only achive a slight increase in potentcy. just because a bud is covered in shiny crystals, dosent mean those crystals/t-combs contain more THC they may just be more numerous but the overall THC content is slight or none at all. i have had some amazing looking buds and they turn out to be wonder weed.

to sum it up you can't get KB results with bag seed, unles you spend the years cross and selective breeding your most potent bag seed strains together to finally get a potent KB bud... good luck with that!!

but i like to belive that the bag seed buds i grow with all my TLC and feedings turn out more potent.

on a side note i have been reading about growers who time their harvest to the color of the buds tricombs it goes from earliest to oldest:

Clear: too early

cloudy: a light airy more energetic high even in indicas.

amber: more narcotic... ass on couch eatin' cheeto's watchin' "live from the Apollo"

you have to have 50 power jeweler lens.

I've taken crappy bagseed and got fantastic high. Yes genetics makes the plant be all it can be. Though there is no telling what the plants care was will germinating to harvest. Big growers are usually concerned with yield and don't nurture the plant like it should be. If you do it right you can get great smoke from bag seed. Growers that have it right will get the most out of there plants.

Yea. Swim isn't trying looking for yield. But rather the most thc possible from one plant. But that brings me to this. Does a plant have a thc limit? Can 1 plant only get so potent? I kno certain plants will have more then others. But what about 1 single plant

No one can tell you any thing more. To get the most out of a plant read and learn from these forums. You'll never know how to get the most out of your plants, till you get your hand dirty and your feet wet from trying. Beware the growing can be more addicting than the smoke.
