and that method works great for me as yours dose you.10 days b4 harvest instead of filtering excess water through the last 2 weeks.its the same thing.your not going to have a lockout because your flushing all the nutrients out of the soil. I actually believe this helps them finish faster. My theroy is they start breaking down their complex sugars into simple sugars at a faster rate because all the risidual nutrients have been completly removed by the flush. My method works and its documented in all kinds of forums and cultivation books. So again i ask you how did i deserve to be called a "complete idiot" for gtiving good advice.I think you got mad because i told him that he wont have lockout. And by far the leading cause of lockout is over ferting.not the water.I ve read your posts and saw your plant and if you didnt unjustly attack me we could have been friends.I grow great weed.I dont do it for money.I love marijuana and growing it and learning about it.I learned mostly6 by trial and error. But also from following advice from like minded people.Im not here to pass out bad advice.I enjoy help[ing people grow better pot.So how dose that equate to me being the object of your scorn and insults? FOR N.P.H.

Sorry for staying off topic kludge but this thread was way off topic about 80 posts ago.

O.k.

I just don't think 20 gallons of water is appropriate for flushing a 5 gallon pot, maybe your not an idiot, but in an indoor grow with 72 plants under 8 lights, that would mean I would need 1440 gallons of r.o. water just to flush my plants.... At 3 gallons or so per hour, it would take 4320 hours, which is about 17 days.

If I bought that much water i'd have to transport 11,620 lbs of water.

Do you understand the problem?

Even easier if you only had one light with 9 plants you'd need 180 gallons. It would také 60 hours, almost 3 days.

I'm sure there are many ways of flushing and if what you do works for you, great, but i'd never suggest someone put that much water through, ever, it definately has to compact the soil, and overwatering is never good for your plant, so what makes it ok to flush with that much water.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but, I believe you called me a fag, asshole, wannabe, poser, and claimed territory over RIU, "if somebody has a problem i'm here."

I just called you an idiot, and i still think you are, so let that be that, in my mind you're an idiot, and in your mind I'm all the all seeing all knowing omnipresent scum of the earth. I'm done with this argument, there are many ways of growing, it's a freaking weed.

I will not reply to any posts from you, end of story.
