ok so everyone wants to legalize pot.

they all go on about hemp and its million uses, about george washington being a grower, about paying taxes in hemp weight. They talk conspiracy theories about cotton, etc etc

now that it is kinda legalised in 14 odd states in the USA (the number does not matter) are we seeing the new hemp revolution? all i can see is a bunch of stoners getting "medical marijuana" to get stoned on the weekend. the vast majority of medical marijuana card holders dont have cancer, or any serious life threating illness. they just like getting stoned.

i dont have a problem with getting stoned.

but wheres the new hemp revolution, the new clothes, the new food, the new oil, the new fuel?

wheres all this cool shit that people promisted we would get with legalization of pot??

Here is my take, even though it may be considered pollution.

The DEA is unconstitutional. The federal marijuana laws are unconstitutional. The law of the land has been said. Don’t think the HEMP Washington was growing is the same hemp today( like hemp bags are made from). You could have smoked Washington’s hemp. I could never understand the moral crusade about medical marijuana. Because medical marijuana means it is a drug. In that case it should be regulated like a drug. Pfizer or someone should be making batches of pills with various mixes of cannabanoids. It is all a farce. I have said it :) Medical marijuana, ya it has a lot of good uses as an organic herbal remedy. But common, true medical use would be synthesized with proper amounts.

The hemp revolution? Gimme a break am not wearing that itchy shit. Rope fine, but I get just as good rope maybe even better than hemp rope today. Everything that hemp could be used for there are better things out for .Like using hemp for fuel. You gotta be smoking something. We can’t even use corn, or sugar cane as a replacement. I guess they want to dedicate 2/3 rds of America to growing hemp for fuel. My point is. It’s all a pretty good farce. If anything they should decriminalized it because it does more harm to in prison people for possession or cultivation than the actual act itself.

I am pretty much at a lose about all this marijuana B.S. I use it mainly because I have a eating issue I can go days just zoned into research and studies. Not eat. It helps me put weight on. It also helps with sleeping, some strains. That is scientifically proven because of the cannabanoid receptors in the brain that regulate hunger etc. You need more than just THC you need the cannabanoids that mess with the other receptors. But I also like getting high :)
Another long post my apologies

Cannabis has not been re-legalized.

Yes, a handful of states have realized that the Federal government has no business dictating cannabis policy to the states, and have approved medical cannabis.

And, yes, there are people with medical cards who acquired them by fraud. Just a short perusal of threads here will confirm that. Which is my biggest complaint about MMJ. It looks after those who legitimately need it, but those of us who simply want it are left out in the cold.

Under MMJ, healthy people are forced to commit fraud; continue our current illegal activity; or do without.

But no state has approved full re-legalization, permanently at least. Alaska did for a while until the Federal government strong-armed state lawmakers into reversing it. And California is considering it.

But full-scale, nationwide re-legalization has not taken place as yet.

Let's never confuse "the law" with justice.

Check this out. Some of my "friends" are very active in distributing this information. Every little bit helps.
