What Is Going On With My Plants?? Rust / Yellow Colored Spots Showing Up..Please Help

These plants are INDOORS, Under a 400 watt MH, On A 18Hr. Cycle, They are about 2 1/2 Weeks Old, I give them R/O Water, They are In Fox Farm Ocean Forest Potting Soil, I Water 2 Times A Week... I have Not fed these seedlings anything but water. I dont know whats wrong, What are all these SPOTS?? I heard it could be a cal/mag deficiency.. Even my little seedlings that just popped up are showing signs of whatever this is... Help would be appreciated..Thanks Guys!IMG_0816.jpgIMG_0817.jpgIMG_0818.jpgIMG_0819.jpgIMG_0820.jpg

if you were over feeding usually you get a nitrogen burn around leaf tips, i think you have a pH problem

Many times the PH is off straight out of the bag.
Which is why I say hydro is still easier than soil when you have to check PH anyway.
Also, 1000 times easier and 1001 times faster to fix in hydro than soil.

it could also be lack of o2 in the root system causing anaerobic conditions, the soil you have in those little pots has nuts in it.

Nuts? Soaking in water? Neither... they are in grow bags... Im using Fox Farm Soil.. I only water 2 times a week, i never over water..im not a noob at this either... I even added more perlite to my soil to aerate it better..

Yeah thats what I've heard...That my plants have a Cal/Mag deficiency because I use R/O water... Cause my Ph levels are good... I Ph & TDS every time I water/feed..I'm running in the 300-325 tds because they are so young right now...

Soil, or hydro you should ALWAYS suspect PH first.
Unless it's something obvious like over watering, underwatering, overfert.

yeah thats what i've been told by others also... It's because I'm using R/O water.. cause my Ph & TDS levels are fine..Im running 300-325 TDS and about 6.5 Ph for the seedlings..I bought some Cal/Mag that I'll give to them next feeding hoping that takes care of it..

I dont know if its too soon to give them the Cal/Mag because I just transplanted them to those grow bags I posted in the pictures...???

Its all about reading the plant. Ph issue usually slow growth to a stand still and the leaves would hook into claw like talon shaped. Some strains are calcium hogs.. but always have mag and Cal in seperate supplements other than dole lime. Too much mag can cause Cal lock out and too much Cal can cause potassium lock out / deficiency. Watch for bottled supplements that have edta in it. Its an acetate. No good.... if using bottle nutes, botanicare has an omri line. Calplex and humega.

Epsom salt and kelp in a foliar spray will help a lot too.

Thanks guys... yeah i just got some cali magic feeding it to em today...i'm keeping my tds at around 700-725 and ph at around 6.5-6.8

Good to see that things are looking better. I'd suggest using Happy Frog for seedlings and Ocean Forest when you transplant with some Light Warrior or Happy frog on the top layer. OF is way too hot of a soil to start seedlings in.
