What is Happening with these plants?

This plant was flipped to 12/12 on January 9/14. Perfectly healthy going in. The only thing different from my last flowering/harvest is the lighting which is a 240 watt LED with T5 HO for side lighting and with CFLS above as well. No nutrients have been added. Soil is the medium. Here is what the leaves are looking like. All leaves are from the same plant. Things gradually get worse and leaves are dying off. The 2 plants further in to flower look like shit.
Now I cheaped out and REUSED some soil from my last harvest. Could this be the issue and if so is it too late to replant.

Looking at the leaves it's highly possible that the plant was low on nitrogen when you flipped to 12/12 and has used up it's reserves too early.
Pointless reusing soil, read up about farmers needing to rotate crops.

Grass,
Using exhausted soil makes your grow very similar to a soil-less grow. Make sure your nutrients have enough Mg or that you are using tap water. If RO water...you might consider adding in a little CalMag since that lower right leaf is showing a well developed Mg deficiency.

Also don't overfeed. It's so common among new growers. You could go with half strength now and maybe add every other or even every third watering. Nute directions on bottle are usually too high so never go full strength.

So should I replant or use the nutrients I have Classic Jacks or DNF. Then two other plants further into flower look a lot worse. And I am thinking of even tossing them. Leaves have gone to brown and crispy dead. Initially it was over feeding or burn.

I will upload photos of the further along ones once the lights come on. Then probably head out to get some bags of soil. God damn it I knew it was a good thing as I was doing it. But got really lazy. Also I am using soil bags. Which seemingly hold moisture more.

Which Jack's Classic are you using? If you're using the NPK 10-30-20, switch to 20-20-20. How much are you feeding and how often? I feed 1/2 tspn per gallon every day.

Using the 20-20-20 and was feeding every other feed. Probably less than a 1/2 teaspoon.

I'm betting you won't go with used soil next time. I grow in fresh soil and feed with Jacks and have no problem. I really don't have an answer other than feed daily and up the dosage to at least 1/2 tspn.....you can go with 1 tspn and not burn your plants.

I think it's because you used the soil all the nutrients got used up and there were no nutrients left for your plant to take up which obviously deprives the plant of nutrients causing nutrient deficiency :(

I def will not reuse next time. And I am going to repot tonight. Nothing to lose at this point that's for sure.

One plant root rot. The plastic bag pots hold moisture for a longer period of time. So obviously don't need to water so much. I am killing them I think with too much water. Replanted tonight. But I would think when you pull the stem and it pulls away from the ball it's root rot. Anyone have any comments or experience using the plastic bag pots.

You can find the felt pots/smart pots for 2-5 bucks per container. Roll with these. These allow your roots to go through the container which will help with root bindings/root rot. It burns off the root tips that grow through, so your plant will send out new roots and focus its energy and putting em in soil with available nutrients instead of curling up along the sides of your plastic containers.

Grasshopper,
I've used the plastic pots/bags. My experience is that they have plenty of holes and drain just as well as a regular pot. I can't imagine why they wouldn't. If you use soil that lacks porosity...whether it be in rigid plastic or the grow bags, then you'll have problems.

Yes they do and are so economical. So I replanted tonight using peat, perlite and soil. Will see how they fare. And the plants were damp not soaked. Maybe I am simply overwatering. Trying to correct PH and watering. Trying to flush and watering. Trying to add nutrients and watering. Going to back off on it. Wait and see.

I believe I have this ailment figured out. Its heat stress. Turned off the cfls and low and behold things are looking astoundingly better. While the damage is done for the most part, the plants that went to 12/12 just recently are now thriving. I did replant as well in nee soil with a mix of peat, peralite and soil. So 3 healthy plants, one that I consider trash and will give to a good cause and the other is continuing along. While she would have done better having not been subjected to this torture I will still get something out of her. Last week or so has been the t5's and the LEDs. Tonight I took some bulbs out of the cfl fixture and turned it on again. Any indication of stress and I will nix it. And go without them. Maybe use the strip for veg. Things did not feel overly warm when I opened the tent each night but the lights had only been on for a couple of hours max. By the end of the 12 hours it must have been hot in there.
