What is it called again, when buds....(photos enclosed)

Whats it called again when buds look like new buds are growing on top of existing buds? I forget the terminology for that and I want to research it again. I've got five "Ghost Train Haze #1" plants going into their 8th week of flowering mode. This strain says they need approx. 10 weeks. As of this morning I just noticed the buds getting other buds growing out of existing ones, I think. I've had that happen with other strains in the past and I know it's not always the worst thing to happen, but I need to know what the terminology is called again to research it so I can settle my mind after all this time of love and attention I've given these five girls. The humidity and temps have been close to perfect. Approx. 78 deg F. during the day and a cooler at night... with the humidity level at this point around 47%.. Air circulation is good. everything seemed to be close to perfect at this point. Been growing the buds out of screening which I LST'd the first several weeks. Thanks for any help.

As said could be genetic or from heat or nutes.

I have a haze doing it now. Its the only one out of several strains.

Its typical of hazes or pure sativas.

Thanks whitebb...Yeh, it's got to be either the strain which is all full sativa haze (ghost train haze) or possibly too much FF Tiger Bloom, but I'm cutting the nutes into less than half dilution next watering, or maybe no nutes at all at this point so that should take care of that, if thats what it is..It's not the heat so...I'll just let it ride out the next cpl of weeks. Thanks again brother

Yeh, apparently like mine, plus it's a full on Sativa.
Yeah, makes the nugs look ugly don't they? I don't like seeing them if they appear on my SLH's... I agree with previous posters, if it isn't a strain thing then it's prob a heat and/or light thing.

I can pretty much verify that it's the strain(sativa) b/c it's definitely not the heat being the heat never gets over 80deg and I have the room really well sealed off from any light what so ever, once the bulbs go off. I put rubber weather stripping around the entire door and a door-sweep at the bottom of the door, plus I put a towel on the floor at the foot of the door on the outside just to be 110% sure. When I'm inside and the grow lights are out I cant see my hand right in front of my face even when the sun is out in full. I hate how those nugs look with that cancerous looking shit all over them...but I guess as long as it smokes nicely..who cares...I guess. Two more weeks to make it ten weeks. C'mon already...lol.

i've grown gth#1 and it does foxtail, had it in nearly perfect conditions, 50% rh, temps that never went over 80 or under 65, decent air flow, and it still foxtailed pretty good

it was good shit, though, not a lot of bag appeal, but people still liked it cause it tasted good and fucked them up

Thanks Roger...I just went and checked my room, temps, humidity and clipped a tad off a bud to look at under my scope. Everything is perfect. The trichs are still just cloudy, barely, and zero amber, but I didn't expect to see any amber from what I've read about them. How long did yours go before you were able to harvest; ten weeks?

it was 9.5 or 10, they hung with clears for a long time then all went at once, like monday i still had 20% clear, wednesday morning all cloudy and just a few ambers, which is problably all you're going to get

Thanks again Roger...Yeh, I had a feeling it might go that way from how it has been going with the slow change in trich color. good to know though the time it took you b/c I see from looking through your journal that you played with the GTH#1 not all that long ago. I scrogged them, but being there were probably a cpl too many for the space I have its not as clean and perfect a scrog had I grown only a cpl/few, but who cares as long as I get some weight in bud with the five I do have going. They foliage has been really amazing. Maybe the best I've had out of al the different strains I tried. Stays really nice and green with no issues at all. I don't go overboard with my nutes either. I probably water/feed every 4th-5th day. Not sure how long the cure time is going to be, but hopefully not much more than a week/week and a half....I'm getting cabin fever with these already....two more weeks I'm sure will feel like a lifetime after all this time already...lol. I do have to admit, GTH has been my easiest grow to date...easier than the WW was. Attitude sent me some real nice seeds, I have to say that. They all germed perfectly.
