    they got all the LPs that they need. Would it not be easier to have 3 large LP that are easier to monitor and control than a hole bunch of smaller LPs? Think about it, lets suppose that you got approved today...... now build a building, set everything up, start clones, grow your herb, harvest, have your herb tested, packaged, and a stream of customers developed. you can do that in 4 months ??????????????

    I am calling BULLSHIT ! Canada's queen - harper - has out done himself this time..... With only 3 LP in this amount of time, it will take them about 100 years to get through the applications that they have now. i am not sure that our wonderful government has not led us all down BS BOLAVARD once again.

    Got rid of all the people growing under the MMAR, reduced the sites to 3 that HC needs to monitor, and they got your address so they know where to come find all of us to fill their new jails. If you hated us as much as harper does, would you licence a bunch of LPs ? No and the conservatives will not either.

    2012 nearly 190,000 kgs were produced under the MMAR for 30,000 people - thats about 6.3 kgs per person. under the new rules the most you can have in a year is 1.8 kgs (12 months X 150g/month) That is a 75 % reduction in product. If you consider how many people will not be able to afford their meds now, well this is going to be a bit of a fucking problem......... Some will keep growing, HC got your address and you can bet they will use it to out you. took harper awhile to figure out how to fuck with us but i think he has us right were he wants us.....

    best bet now is to go back to court and sue HC. Over the last month we have all seen the senate scandle - they will ; lie. cheat, steal, what ever it takes for them to keep power over canadians.................

Sorry for asking, where do the numbers for the 2012 MMAR production come from ? Is this your estimate @medicineman2014 ?

You obviously don't have a very good understanding of the regulations. No where does it say in the MMPR that patient's can only have a script for a maximum of 150g a month. The regulations simply state that no more than 150g can be shipped to a patient at one time by a LP and the patient can't possess more than 150g at one time. So in essence, the patient can be shipped daily a maximum of 150g if they are prescribed that much a day by their doctor.

If you are going to go on a tirade, I advise you to get your facts straight.

Sorry about the "tirate" but when I read all these regs from the government my blood pressure builds, my tirate is me letting of steam - other option my head will explode. Once again thanks for the info .....

While I don't believe Harper will limit LPs to just 3 or 4, I do believe they will discriminate harshly and will keep the number of LPs down to a very manageable few, probably less than a dozen if even that many. That way they won't have to hire an army to do annual inspections, which is what failed in the current system.

I don't believe they will have to discriminate harshly. I think the applicants will mostly be flakier than a box of raisin bran and there will be very few applicants that can get their act together.

can I ask if anyone here has donated anything to help fight harper with the court case? I was just as upset and I did donate money to both john conroys legal fight as well as sensible BC. Some old military buddies of mine told me this...you can make things happen, you can watch things happen, or you can wonder what the fuck just happened. I say this to everyone so I don't target any one person...if you're angry, stop typing and do something to help! The legal battle has started so help by donating to the conroy legal challenge! K, I'll stand down from my soap box. Thanks for taking that in and thinking about what each of us has done to help fight harper. If nothing, then maybe you should think about your position a little bit harder is my suggestion.

When your right your right.

I will be contacting them and make a donation. We have to fight for our rights or we will never have any. I am tired of just writing but I as 1 person have gotten no where on my own with this and I think my frustrTion is showing through. My experience with the government is in the end I always get screwed out of something and i am tired of it.

Thanks for your post - sometimes I need a kick I the ass to take the next step ......

I didn't type that message for just you my friend. It should be all of us who donate to the conroy legal battle. I do understand how you feel that one person can't do it by themselves, which is why so many people already have joined forces and have given money to conroy and company b/c they are now part of a mega team and all are welcome to join it. If victory does come then it will taste sweeter to you than if you just stood idly by while others did more. Team work gets the job done way faster. I know my military brothers would agree to that 100%. So to all who haven't joined the team, come and do so and be part of the forces that defeated Harper. Roll up a victory dubee now and make it really nice. Then put it away in your victory box and say on it, to be smoked when victory happens. Call it a medium term goal. That's what I did. I'm in this to win and so are my medical pot brothers and sisters.

I could not remember we're I read this but found it on Conroy web site. This is his quote;

Health Canada as of April 2013 authorized the production of 188,189 kilograms of cannabis marihuana to be produced under the MMAR under the various licences during 2012

I hope this helps. I find it rather disturbing

Thanks for the clarification. I paste something here that the majority of readers here may or may not be aware of, this comes from the Cost Benefit analysis the government is using as a basis for the MMPR. Interesting reading, very heavy on stats and data.......

That data is weak at best....H.C. admits they used monte carlo averaging to achieve these results....
You can make those numbers whatever you want and they still wont be accurate.

What was the point of this document in the first place? Just to sell the MMPR, to who?

It is a good read for wannabe LP's who are depressed, it'll cheer you up, lol.

I. Agree with you I don't have a very good understanding of the mmpr. I think there are only. 3 companies that do. Here is why I think there is a limit to how much anyone can buy in a month,

Thirty-day limit 124. (1) A licensed producer must
not sell or provide to a client or an
individual responsible for the client in
any 30-day period a total quantity of
dried marihuana that exceeds 30 times
the daily quantity referred to in
paragraph 129(1)(d).

End quote

The mmpr requirements are designed so the government has lots of weasel words so they can cover their asses later if need be......

Man, this is the single hardest thing to understand, the 150g limits, written so badly in 3 different places. Page 32,33 of the Small Scale Grow Thread was where I finally got my mind around it with the help of redi jedi. If that doesn't explain it well enough, post again and I'll consolidate it for you and others.

The 150g limit is asinine. They can't play doctor. They don't have the authority and it will fall under charter rights IMO.
