Well, It goes like this. All of them will double in size when you switch to 12/12. There other techniques as well instead of 12/12, but that takes daily care. Now indoor lighting with a 1000 watt bulb can only penetrate down max 3 feet, so why even bother getting them any bigger as it will be a waste of time. I can get mine from seedling to 18 inches in two weeks in veg mode and will be around 3 feet when done. Then I switch them off with no light for one day, this makes them respond to winter is coming and soon. If you can lower the temp too on them and they will think its time for winter and time to die. Remember these are plants and are born to re-produce. So help them out. I cannot give you faster times on flowering as that depends on the strain. All in all I have been known in the past to get a plant from seedling to fully done in 8 weeks. It is possible, but you have to do some things for them.

and i call bul. you caqnt change when they are done like that...not that big of a time cut. longer light makes slower budding and ripening and less light is slower as well. why not tell us if it works then.
been at this for a long long time and done lots of light manupulation and ive never had a plant go from see in that short of time...not if its realy ripe
i agree there isnt much penetration but to say no light at 3 foot isnt true either.

a seed to 18 inch in 2 weeks...like to see that...and i dont mean stretched to 18 inches. and the 1 day no light does so little that its impossible to visualy see if it works. stress is what brings on faster flower sets. and 1 day off isnt enough stress to do any good. same with the light off at the end for that myth of 48 hours. all lowering the tempo does is slow food processing down and less bud production and growth.

how long ya been growin for means nothing. i have guys in their 70`s and still cant grow a weed. i work for reasearchers so i get science as answers and a nute co. so we still havent seen the science behind your theories.
and ive been at it since the late 70`s myself to.
this is Dr Hornby`s lab. i work with these guys...1 of the many i do stuff for.....http://www.hedron.ca/

for me i work with proven facts...not the "cause i said so stuff" if we cant dulpicate it with science then its not fact...its a theory. and what we see online is most theories are wrong. they work...but not for the reasons most think it worked. like this stress at 12/12 time./ thats what makes more frost and faster flowers. some may say..it was my food or way i cut the light...but the science behind it is stress. shake it and get same results without messing with lights n foods. frost is a defence to danger or stress. but dosnt mean its more potent either...frost is just trichs but now need to still fuill with canabinoids to be better...bag appeal is all it usualy is.
and yes we have tested the efficacy and most dont show an increase till the trich is filled with thc and other cannabinoids.

she is the one and only NextDoor Nikki! my favorite non-nude model... there are several instances of her naked though, she also let her clothes fall off on Jerry Springer several years ago...

ive searched a bit and, i cant seem to find a lot on, how long should one veg?
i looked through a lot of RIU for some answers,i didnt look that hard though.
i have read once they reach maturity, blah. and others force them. but, when do you decide its time to flip? just looking for some opinions. im very stoned, but i think this makes sense...:eyesmoke:
There is no real time frame. But when you can spot preflowers then thats usually when you would want to induce flowering.

preflowers don't showing when you're vegging, preflowers are the prelude to flowering, they have the same photoperiod.

can i keep vegging my plants after preflowers? i started some about a 4 weeks ago and they have preflowers. about 32" tall on average. But then last week I brought in some new babes and they are just beginning so I think i'll have to veg my big ones longer now. Does that hurt them to just keep vegging em with preflowers showers? these things are gonnna be huge. using house and garden full line.

from what i understand, you can veg them for as long as you want but sooner or later she will flower. it may take some time depending on the how much light.

Im on my first grow and Im 36 days in (5 weeks and a day) and my plants range from 6 to 8 inches tall. Im not sure if this is average, i would love to hear anyones opinion, i currently have them under 24 hours light inside a grow box and they have been under 24 hours for about 5 days. previously to that i had them on 20 hours. i was wondering if i waited another 2 or 3 weeks to flower how big will my girls get in the end and what kind of yield should i expect? i currently have 9 plants and the sex is unknown of them all. I plan to keep 4 5 if space provides. Here is my grow if anyone wants to check it out. Feedback is greatly appreciated>>>> https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/355500-1st-grow-lots-pics-need.html

yes they do have pre flowers in veg. right afetr they reach maturity and we see the hairs to sex them...that is pre flowers. its not a bud. and no the only plant that will flower on its own or with time is an auto. all other must change the lighting.
you could veg a plant for years...i have., longer they do the better the end result is to, more potent and more bud

think of pre flower time as puberty like we do with a voice change and all that shit...means we are ready to get it on is all...not that it starts to bud. not till light is less than 15 hours. then the other hormones kick in
